In December 2007 we purchased two pups from Dawn. A Wheaten Border Terrier and a Black & White Miniature Schnauzer. Parents of both were showed to us and true to form the pups have grown into beautiful dogs, reflecting their parents characters and temperaments. The Schnauzer had also been pre screened for hip and eye ailments. Five years later on, both are in excellent health, both have retained their loving temperaments, and the pair are absolutely inseparable ! Dawns standards both for the kennels and as a breeder are second to none, and i can highly recommend her. ***UPDATED APRIL 2018*** My Schnauzer was sadly diagnosed with both glycoma and diabetes in October 2015. After bravely battling with daily insulin injections, and other medications for pancreatitis and kidney problems that developed, as well as drops and gel for her eyes, all at great expence, despite being insured for £7000.00 a year, it wasn't enough ! In insurance excess fees of 20%, charges that were not covered, and costs over the policy limit, she coat me £2700 in her final 11mths. She was put to sleep in November 2017 following kidney faliure, just aged 10yrs. 5mths later I still miss her every moment of every day. I was informed upon diagnosis that Miniature Schnauzers are highly prone to both glycoma and Diabetes, and for this reason, I can neither emotionally or financially go through this stress and heartbreak again. I've had dogs all my life, but this was my first and last Miniature Schnauzer.

We have 3 great danes and a german shepherd which we left with Dawn for a week.A brilliant boarding kennel and will be bringing our dogs back soon.We came home with a pug puppy, the last 1 of a litter Dawn has bred . He's a bright fire cracker and a credit to Dawn . Can't recommend the kennels enough, very accommodating and nothing too much trouble

Picked our dog up from here a short while ago smelt absolutely disgusting, wasn't himself at all from day one getting him back he has had very bad diarrhoea, sickness! Trip to the vets today and £50 later got a check up and prescription! Price rise at this kennels was quite steep too from last time we used them! Basically in a nut Shell never again and wouldn't recommend at all! Be warned people!

When dropping off the dogs, no one was around and we had to wait over 45mins until by chance she arrived. No mobile number on the voicemail service so had no way of contacting anyone. When she did arrive she was rather rude and ignorant. Not very polite at all. When making the booking I had specified that the dogs needed to be in two individual kennels but next to each other and she said this was nota problem, but she had not arranged this so our dogs had to put on in two kennels in completely different buildings. Left the dogs (only for two nights otherwise would have taken them with us). When picking up the dogs she hadn't bothered to feed them on the collection day, so when we picked up our dogs at 11am and got them home for 12pm, they had not had their breakfast! Both dogs smelled awful of manure and I suspect neither dog had been walked as when we collected them at 11am she was still in her pyjamas! The kennels were completely outside, concrete blocks exposed to the elements and appeared to have no access to an outdoor running space or soft ground. Would not use this kennel again or recommend it. Really disappointed.
