Very beautiful park that feels almost like a forest. There’s a variety of trees and animals, including horses, oxen and all sorts of birds, particularly next to the ponds.

I went for a run around the perimeter and visited all 7 lakes. I usually run in Richmond Park, and it was interesting to compare these two large UK parks. Sutton Park is very natural with unspoit woods and open heathland. Richmond Park has flower gardens and vistas and is more manicured.

You forget you're in a city when yourein this park. It has a little bit of something for everyone. Lakes, streams, rugged ground, paved walked, cafe, bar, semi-feral free-roaming horses, playground for kids. Shame theyve removed the carvery, which was perfect for after a long Sunday walk. Large enough to get a bit lost. Small enough to find your way out eventually.

It's a very extensive park. The park is huge and there's a chance you can definitely get lost if you go off the main paths, but there is some signage. Nevertheless, it's a very beautiful park and great for exploring and getting in touch with nature. There was some decent foliage, but I found most off the beaten paths. Managed to capture a few photos on my visit.

It’s a really beautiful park. Honestly, anyone who visits and gets a chance to try the grilled calamari here will find it worth it. The atmosphere is incredible, and it’s also right by the lake, which adds to the charm. It’s a very scenic spot. There’s a restaurant nearby in case anyone gets hungry, and overall, the park is huge. Behind it, there’s also a forest β€” as you can probably tell from the photo β€” where you might feel like you could get lost, but in reality, it’s easy to find your way back. The landscape is stunning and perfect for anyone who’s craving a bit of adventure. If I had to point out something negative, it would be because of animals like cows and others roaming around, which means there’s quite a lot of droppings scattered around. I think it needs to be cleaned more regularly so the park can reach its full potential. Even so, if you live nearby, it’s a great place to visit every weekend, especially since options are limited. In general, it just needs a bit of cleaning β€” maybe during the week. But overall, it’s a wonderful place to visit

Fantastic nature reserve with lots of walking trails and routes get lost on. Lots of history and lots of wildlife. Lakes, open pasture, woodland. Many gates to enter, with car parks....some with toilets, cafes, pub etc, some gates are straight into nature with no amenities or facilities. Love a long dog walk here on a regular basis

Park itself is gorgeous - loads of routes to take, plenty of different sights and types of terrain. Just fantastic. Unfortunately it seems to have ran down a bit since my last visit (10+ years ago!). Sadly there aren't many cafes (that were open at least - I saw a few boarded up graffitid huts) or places to sit and eat/drink/bathrooms etc, except for the Tony Carvery. Sadly a lot of the land also has rubbish (coffee cups, plastic bags etc). Such a pity as the park itself is really lovely.

Beautiful and massive park, so many areas to explore, from lakes to open plains. Lovely place for a warm day out. Parking is free, and there are lovely bistros in the park. Great spot

One of my favorite parks in Birmingham it's huge you can always find a spot where you won't be disturbed . 3 more water spots , flowing river , herd of cows , swans, donkeys ducks ,fishes, squirrels, rabbits this park has loads of wild life even bats that you can see flying around your head at the waters edge of you are there late enough . You can take a good 3 hours walk to get to the other side .

We have very impressive experience. A must visit place in Midlands with or without family or with friends. Close to nature experience. Good for photography. Bring food with you and have a great picnic.
