Such a beautiful park when it is looked after by the locals, unfortunately the last visit wasn’t very pleasant as there was litter quite literally everywhere you took a step, more shockingly around where the kids play area is although adults were present but happily sat around mess, we need to make the changes and encourage but more importantly to lead by example, show the future generations the expectations of cleanliness

25 years ago I visited small heath park and it was wonderful, the grass was green and lush, the lake was full of life. Fast forward to 2025, the park is a mess, litter everywhere, awful grass and the ducks are staying away from the lake. It's a shame the council have neglected such a wonderful park.

Enjoyed a stroll around the park on my lunch hour. It's a lot bigger than I thought. There is litter in the south side of the lake.

Wonderful park. Peaceful vibes. The ducks and other birds are blissful. You can spend some quality day out here. It's calm and windy when I went there.

Great place , nice and open areas but be careful with your kids as there tend to be glass bottles all over the park

Our 1st time visiting Small heath. Very disappointed by the litter, mess and condition of play area. Wouldn't recommend taking a stroll or letting kids run around. The fields are covered in litter, the floor on the play areas look like patchwork. The poor ducks are nesting and swimming in rubbish in the pond. There wasn't a clean area in the fields.
