We stayed for 5 nights in self catered rooms, couldn't ask for anything more to be honest. Had every facility you could think of from cooking implement to swimming pool. Lovely private hot tubs in a small space for each property overlooking farmyard and some beautiful cows. Great for dogs with lots of space and a very welcoming dog Matt and bags provided. Swimming pool and Sauna both nice although small (given the site is small), so lovely to just break things up. Represented really good value and a nice stay with a short trip to both attractions, pubs and restaurants. Intend to go back and try one of the other properties on site.

We had a lovely week. More or less everything you need was available and any time we needed help from staff they were quick and extremely helpful. We loved how much there was to do on site and the accommodation was lovely. Nice welcome gift for the humans and the dog as well! This didn’t define the holiday but the WiFi isn’t the strongest and didn’t cover everywhere (The Barn).

We stayed for a week staying in Priesthill, a lovely little place. Everything was clean, had treats for us and our dog. The kitchen had everything you would need. There is a swimming pool which you can book for an hour a day, as the dog is not to be left on their own unless crated, we took it in turns to use the pool and sauna. We had a hot tub and outside on grass there was table tennis. It was lovely to see the cows in the field. I would highly recommend this place.

Wonderful stay - all really enjoyed the peace and quiet. Toto loved his welcome barksket and we loved the prosecco - thanks so much. Fab hot tub under the stars. Loved it.

We booked Hartle and Cockaynes for a group of friends the weekend just gone. My partner and I were staying in ‘Hartle’ but only stayed one of the two nights. Bed was really uncomfortable and we were only given one pillow each and they were paper thin. Ended up using some of the cushions from the settee as pillows but we still had a dreadful nights sleep. The lock on the main door of Hartle is currently broken and secured by an ugly bike lock, meaning the accommodation can’t be locked whilst inside which was unsettling. Both Hartle and Cockaynes were freezing, radiators were not sufficient to heat the rooms with high ceilings. Water pressure was very poor, shower was just a trickle. On a positive, Cockaynes was well equipped and laid out well, the hot tub was good (although quite cold) facilities of the site ie games room and swimming were good for entertaining the kids. We would return to these cottages, but not in the winter and wouldn’t stay in Hartle again. Would have been a nice touch for both places to have wood burners too!

Had a weekend away with friends, perfect location and everything we had planned was easy to get to from here. The place itself is stunning, the cottages are well equipped with what we needed, with a gift left for us in the fridge, very appreciated thank you. The only little niggle I had was we had booked the pool and sauna area for 9.30am however the sauna wasn't on, we had to switch it on meaning it didn't fully warm up. May have been a one off but if you are to pre book then it should really be ready. Would recommend these cottages and also dog friendly.

The decor of Henry's Haunt is mental! There's everything you'll need for a stay, it's lovely, comfy and clean and the showers superb. Beware tho as the hot tub/garden is not as private as we thought it would be so we were a little uncomfortable when using it. Saying that the view outback from it is incredible.

Family celebration of 10 adults and 6 children. The Barn had 6 ensuite bedrooms, 5 of which can be doubles or twins and 1 fixed double. Lolly the housekeeper and Steve the maintenance man both very helpful with any requests, handled very quickly and efficiently. Fantastic view from the living room picture window. Ideal for walkers. Well equipped games room and good swimming pool. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing time... Check-in and check-out is pretty straightforward and easy. We were greeted with some nice Bakewell tarts and some drinks. Big lounging and dining areas. Water pressure in the bathroom and kitchen was good. Fully equipped kitchen. The hot tub, private pool and sauna use were the highlight of the stay. Going to the games room which had a pool table, table tennis table and a foosball table made even even more enjoyable. After our visit a few friends visited the place after looking at our photos. They loved it as well. We’re planning to go again some time. Very relaxing and a nice quiet surrounding. Highly recommend.
