   After waiting 45 minutes for food, the award winning breakfast came out luke warm, and syrup was missing from my coffee. Milk was also missing from the tea. Overall for the price, I was very disappointed.

   This place is amazing!! Were went to Castleton for a day out and went here for lunch. I had a turkey ciabatta (9.95) with stuffing, cranberries chips side salad. We also ordered grilled chicken (14.95)pepper sauce and chips. It was simply delicious and in this day and age was great value!! Simply must visit this place of your in area!!

   Imagine, if you will, the dynamic rolling hills of the Derbyshire Moore on a cold dreary November morning. The cold has seeped into your flesh, shivering so fast you could make butter from milk. And then you see across the road a sign saying "award winning Nag's Head Breakfast". A beacon for the last ship of the night. Hope as once again arisen in the West. The warmth of the hearth brings back, with the pains and pangs of beaten back frost, your limbs. You use them with much gusto as the delicious fayre is brought forth by a buoyant barmaid. The sausages and bacon, locally sourced, leave your hunger sated. Everything cooked with Northern pride. Mushrooms and black pudding; beans galore. Just a shame, we could have had two more. Best breakfast I have no doubt. Come here my friends, don't miss out.

   Came to Castleton yesterday for a lovely walk and my daughter and me were hungry so looking around we found Ye Olde Nags Head, we were welcomed with a smile at the bar and I was ask for a table, staff was very polite and said if I take a seat when ready to order come to bar with table number. I was so tempted to have fish and chips or pie but at the table next to use they were eating homemade pizza. Decided we ordered 2 with drinks, a little pricey but for the area on par with most other restaurants. The pizza's arrived so hot and were amazing for taste. I would definitely recommend

   We stayed at the Ye Olde Nags Head in Castleton, Peak District at the beginning of July and loved our stay here. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the room was perfect for what we needed. Lots of tea and coffee, bed was comfortable and shower facilities were good. We also had breakfast included on our stay and the food was incredible. High-quality produce, great variety to choose from and friendly staff. Located right in the heart of Castleton and they have parking included, which is a bonus. Would highly recommend!

   Had some dinner here yesterday with my partner. The food was absolutely beautiful and plenty of it, the home made lasagne, garlic bread and a side of home made chips was the best I've had in a long time! Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The pub had such a lovely feel about it, Will definitely be back!

   Love going to the Nags Head! All the staff are so friendly and welcoming, definitely the best pub in the village! Food is amazing too whether it’s breakfast or an evening meal. I would recommend to have a look at the specials board if you’re looking for something a bit different. Great choice of beers as well!

   My wife and I booked a 2 night stay and the welcoming hospitality was there as soon as we walked through the door. Throughout our stay the all staff were very polite and helpful which made our stay all the more enjoyable. Food is lovely, both the breakfast and evening meals were excellent. The room was nice with good views and because we were on the top floor there was very little noise. All in all I would definitely stay here again. A great central base for walker's.

   Accomodation - The room was very clean and well stocked with water, tea, coffee etc. Breakfast was fantastic, with many choices. Bar - Real log fire in the bar, which was welcoming after a walk in the autumn weather! Great selection of drinks, especially gin, so I was happy!! Large menu with lots of choices

   Excellent value for money. All the staff were friendly and helpful, with the exception of Sophie who served us in the restaurant last night. She was exceptional. What a lovely young lady. An asset to the business. Well done. Good selection of beers and good choice of menu.
