Disgraceful! I had a taxi booked at 11.00pm in a rural location and they left a woman on her own stranded. After fobbing me off for 20 minutes, they then said there was no-one to pick me up in that area. They should honour their bookings. Appalling!
Taxi ordered last Friday on the app to go to haydock races turned up 1\2 hour late driver blamed roadworks yeah rite told him to go in back way haydock crossing ignored same coming back 6pm turned up at 6 .20. We were there driver drove off. Avoid like the plague
Absolutely shocking service. Switchboard are friendly but don’t expect your taxi to turn up. Waited over a hour and still after numerous calls and being assured the new driver was on his way, still didn’t turn up. After the 4th attempted, I called another company. DO NOT USE!!!
Avoid! I booked a taxi on Friday morning. Driver took the longest route to my destination so it cost far more than the same journey a few days before. Throughout the journey, the driver was talking on his phone, which was hands free. When I questioned the price, the driver said prices increase at the weekend. It was Friday morning.
Pre-booked a taxi for saturday night from Warrington to St Helens for 6.45pm and the return for 10.30pm. Both taxis were on time, so no problem there. However, I did advise the operator when booking that I would be paying by card. The driver on the return journey was great and very professional but I had reservations about the driver on the outbound journey. He was wearing a hoodie ( with the hood up ) which I found a little intimidating. As soon as we got in the car he said that it was cash only as his card machine was not working and drove to a cash point and still charged me for the time ! He then took a very round about route which I assume was to increase the cost of the journey. Then when we got nearby, he actually asked me where to go. Had I not been observant, I woyld not have known where we were ! Not a very good experience.
Ordered 3 taxis for yesterday at 12pm from Holiday Inn to Liverpool was quoted £38 . One charged £55, driver blamed switchboard, saying they dont what they are doing. Second one £58 and locked doors whilst paying. We are ladies of a certain age not like we can do runner. He blamed the traffic. .Well done to third taxi who honoured the price. Had booked to come back but cancelled.wWhere we live taxi gives you price and that's what you pay.
