Poor service, needed my iPad fixed under the impression that was something they do, the ladie on the phone was ok but having to send it bk and forth to scarbough branch just for them to say they can’t do it at a cost of £36 really wasted my time, could of just said that in York but had no technician there? Strange. Being a tech company shouldn’t need to send things over to Scarborough use technology maybe to save time? took weeks and I’m no further on with it. Would not recommend
Very good service. My laptop was fixed in the matter of few hours and it was easy to book an appointment. Chris was excellent to talk to and gave some really insightful information. Good price too for students.
My old PC died with a hard drive which was running hot. Jennings provided me with a new PC and took the time and effort to copy an image over. It meant I was without a PC for a very short amount of time, and the new one worked immediately, without having to reset passwords or reinstall software. FANTASTIC SERVICE
Excellent service! I went in the replace the battery on my Dell Inspiron laptop, was out in 20 mins with the whole job sorted. Couldn't fault the service. Will go there again for any future tech support
Well what can I say!? Jennings had been recommended to me for my PC troubles, so I emailed them and received a response straight away. The service was fast and efficient - in and out in a day, nothing was too much trouble! Thankyou so much - Chris in York especially. I'll be back! (but not yet...)
I recently upgraded to a new laptop. Jennings were able to transfer all my data from old to new which was very important to me as I’m not very savvy. They advised me on which MacBookPro was best suited to my needs and solved a few problems I had. Would totally recommend Jennings, an excellent service.
I had great service from Jennings, My iMac was running painfully slow taking several minutes to open an application. I called Georgina who explained to me exactly what would be the issue and agreed to take the Computer in on the same day. I dropped it at the end of day they fixed it the next day and I collected it the following morning. In total I was 1 business day without a computer which is excellent service. Since getting the machine back with a new hard drive it has been like a brand new machine, I can't recommend these guys enough.
I was recommended Jennings Computers as a reliable and competent company to fix my ailing Apple Mac and I was not disappointed! I took the machine along to the York branch, the next day I was told that it needed a new hard drive and given the costs if I wanted to proceed with the repair. I authorised the repair and within two days I had my computer back working as well as it did when it was new (several years ago). Result - not rushing to buy a new Apple Mac and a very happy customer!
I took my MacBook Laptop here for a battery replacement, from start to finish, the service from the staff was fantastic. I left my laptop with them on Monday morning and it was ready on the Wednesday afternoon. The service is pricey, but at the same time, it's worth it. My MacBook works much better and like it's brand new. Would highly recommend Jennings Computer Services to anyone within the York area and would definitely use them again.
