A brilliant, dog-friendly (think vodka sponsored dog bowls!), quirky & uniquely themed café not far from the city centre & well worth the walk. Delicious toasties with lots of veggie/vegan options available & the smoothie we had was so good we ordered another. Great music & memorabilia - You can even buy vinyl here. Very welcoming owner & staff - would come back to York just for this place! Thank you - we will return

Lovely owner, wonderful multifunctional space. They were setting up for some live music but made time to chat to us. Fully recommend. Great choice of drinks from coffee, tea, iced teas, cocktails & bottles alcohol (including a range of 0%/low alcohol) Plus an array of vinyl to browse & buy. Definitely want to come back again to try some food. Plenty of vegetarian & vegan options!

Stumbled across this gem as we walking into the city centre from the NCP carpark & our accommodation for the night. Love vinyl so it was appealing from the off set. We had a latte which was really good. They had music playing & it gave the place a great atmosphere. So the next morning we called in for a toastie & that did not let us down. Didn't really look at the large selection of vinyl records as it was starting to fill up & we were pressed for time. If I'm every back in York (I will be) then this will definitely (maybe) bet the place for a coffee & a quick bite.

Fantastic place to visit, loved the interesting music related decor and whole atmosphere of the cafe. We attended a music bingo night and had a fun time. The owners were great hosts and had put on a fab event. There is a good selection of drinks available, alcoholic and non-alcoholic. I would also highly recommend the grilled cheese sandwiches. We had the all-day breakfast and smokestack lighting sandwiches, and they were delicious.

One of many pit stops to rest legs and recharge. Lovely cafe where yo order at counter with one wall dedicated to vinyl LPs for sale. Music of course was playing but not so loud to be intrusive. I only had tea and cake which were great, but there is a menu for breakfast and lunches.

Absolutely lovely stop here first thing this morning for a quick bite to eat on a lazy Sunday morning The staff were really friendly and welcoming, the food was delicious I got the death cab for charcuterie cheese toasty which was delicious Cool section of vinyls with some independent musicians showing a real care and purpose in their offerings!

Fantastic visit to this little gem with my family. Reasonably priced with quality coffee and the best grilled cheese sandwiches we have all ever tasted ( youngest 22 >oldest 80!!!)

I was prepared to visit and review any local café on Sunday also to get some work done but apparently most of them were closed. Finally found this place about which I heard but never visited. It was very warm outside and the staff was welcoming, She was in between her food but still stood up approached me asked if I needed a seat that touched my heart. Ordered a latte and he asked if cold or hot, thank god he asked because I did not mention cold but wanted cold. Added vanilla flavour to it and yumm!. He was patient to accept my change. Lot of exclusive music and learnt about the idea of their café. Recommend to anyone and everyone.

What a great find! Happened upon this place en route to the Railway museum, very friendly staff, only had time for a quick drink. Loved the vibe, imagine there's some great acts on here too. Will be back for certain if I ever get more time to visit, will stop for lunch next time.
