Visited the No1 Stonegate store in York for a Tudor BB watch purchase. Served by Max who after advising him what I was looking for gave a couple of options and very pleased with my final choice. Highly recommend both the store and service
I have often called into the store over the years and was always left with a good impression of the polite, welcoming and knowledgeable staff, as well as a feeling that I was not being pressured or hurried in any way. When I decided that I was going to purchase a Blancpain Fifty Fathoms, I contacted Max to make the arrangements having remembered him from my previous visit. He liaised with Blancpain as the specific model configuration I wanted was not in stock with Berry's at the time. The watch was available to pick up approximately 4 weeks later and I was kept upto date with the process throughout. I would happily recommend Berry's and in particular the No1 Stonegate store to anyone looking to make a special purchase in future.

Lovely shopping experience purchasing watches for my daughter’s 18th birthday back in March with Lee and again this week, purchasing a watch my son’s 21st birthday with Max. Myself and my Fiancé had the most welcoming experience at this store . From arriving we were greeted nicely and assisted Expertly and professionally by Max . We felt that there was no pressure being put on us and Max was ready to answer any questions that we had . The ring we purchased was then custom made for us and sent to our closest branch for collection . Overall the customer service that we received was excellent and we love the ring that we purchased .
Absolute pleasure to do business with the store I would highly recommend. All the staff are helpful, polite and approachable I purchased an Omega watch with help and advice from Deputy manager Michael who has been in touch with help and after sales advice and I can not praise his attitude enough. We couldn't recommend this jewellers enough. We were on the lookout for an engagement ring and we'd travelled specially for the day, hoping we would find one. This was the last jewellers we tried, and so glad that we did. Michael Park (who looked after us) was so patient and helpful. We must have been there easily over an hour, we left at 5.15 and they are meant to shut at 5pm. Despite being late, we weren't rushed out. This is an old family business and that translates through the service provided and the quality of the items they sell - they know their stuff. We found the perfect ring (in budget), and I'm very excited to wear it. The service from staff was impeccable. Nothing was too much trouble, and the whole experience felt very special and marked what we felt should be a special experience. This can't be said for some of the other jewellers we had looked at. We plan to get our wedding bands from Berry's as it's a no brainer.
I visited Berry's at 1, Stonegate at York to enquire about having the bracelet re-fitted to my vintage Speedie. The watch has literally gone through the wars with my service within the UK Military and Police, and it proved to be quite a task due to one of the end pieces being slightly distorted and the corresponding pin having an almost imperceptible bend. The service offered by Jack and his colleagues was exemplary, my watch was returned to me looking absolutely immaculate and for that, I am extremely grateful.
Fantastic customer service from start to finish. Michael Park made the experience of purchasing my first luxury watch very special and memorable. His knowledge was limitless, and we had some wonderful discussions about watches. A true gentleman! The rest of the staff also made my father and I very welcome and couldn't have done more for us.
