   Excellent service from start to finish, thanks to Kate who looked after me. The nature of the shop being quite small and by appointment only makes the whole experience of choosing/buying a ring feel much more personal and relaxing than what I imagine it is like at other, bigger chain shops. Also a nice touch was that all confirmation emails had discrete subject lines so nothing could be given away by accident before the proposal. I highly recommend to anybody to give Austen & Blake a look for all your jewellery needs :)

We were educated on the selection of metals and different cuts of the rings before making our decision.    Purchased an engagement ring from A&B in December 2019. My other half doesn't wear any jewellery so designing a ring was always going to be a challenge. I needn't have worried though because Julie was fantastic throughout the process. She really took the time to understand what I was looking for and gave very helpful advice about the setting and the stone itself. Having done a decent bit of research before I went in, it is clear that A&B presents excellent value for money with the jewellery they make, to the extent that I would never bother stepping into a high street retailer again. Fast forward 2 months and I am happily engaged. Having gone back to A&B for a slight re-sizing of the ring, my other half has now met Julie and we are already looking at getting our wedding bands from there as well. Simply put, choosing an engagement ring should be special and exciting process. With A&B, and Julie in particular, that is what you will get. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

   After losing the Diamond stone from my engagement ring setting recently, myself and my husband had scoured jewellers online and in stores trying to find a replacement for the beautiful diamond I had lost. I never thought we would find a suitable replacement that would live up to what my previous diamond was.. that was until we stumbled upon Austen and Blake in Leeds. We called on the morning we were heading in to Leeds and spoke to Julie who was extremely helpful and managed to get us an appointment that day. We visited knowing exactly what we had in my mind and after explaining the situation to Julie she could not do enough to help us. We looked at many samples of settings to find the perfect one, my husband knew exactly what he wanted from the new diamond to make it perfect for me and Julie was extremely patient and spent a lot of time looking for the right diamond with us. Eventually we found the perfect Diamond to suit our budget and high expectations. I was a little apprehensive about the process of choosing a diamond without viewing it first, however Julie reassured me and we placed the order for my new engagement ring. It took exactly 3 weeks which Julie had advised us it would take to make the ring and when it came to delivery day Julie went out of her way to ensure it got to me as soon as possible as we couldn’t get in to store to collect. The delivery was very secure and extremely fast! I am extremely happy with my new ring it’s beautiful and definitely lives up to my much loved (first) engagement ring, it is exactly as I imagined it would look when choosing it. It came beautifully packaged and with all the official certificates. I honestly couldn’t be happier. Thank you Julie! Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
