   Been here today to do 4 wash loads. 8 washers, 2 of which are large load and 1 which is duvet sized. 8 dryers, 1 of which is large load. Standard wash £6, large £8.50 (Oct 25). These prices are around average nowadays. £1 for 5 minutes drying time. Open 0730-2000 (last wash 7pm) with change available from the attached dry cleaners 0900-1700. Outside those hours it is unstaffed. The laundrette was clean and tidy with only 1 washer out of order. Staff were helpful and friendly. Plenty of nearby parking and convenient nearby bus stops too. It's also just a few minutes walk from the visitor moorings on the Staffordshire & Worcestershire canal which is really handy for boaters.

   I don’t know why there is a picture of Spar but this is a great canal side laundry. Expensive but very convenient.

   Spend £5 for draying nothing hapend cloths were not dried at all machine didn't even get hot . Very expensive bot gona use again

   Passing on a narrowboat and carried out a wash and dry. It was manned, I was helped by giving me change and information how to use the machines. The place and the machine are clean. I recommend and will use again

   So in general this laundrette has great facilities. I went to do a wash and dry today and managed to get quite a lot done. Just to put things into context I’m 6 months pregnant and felt slightly unwell at the end of my washing. I asked the women working there if they wouldn’t mind helping me put my washing in the car boot for me as I was struggling and they rudely said “NO”. I was slightly taken back with their response. Is there any humanity or empathy left for other people? I was left quite upset. I dragged my washing to the boot and a lovely gentleman outside helped me once he realised I was struggling. Will not be using their laundrette again.

   If you have large quilts to wash this is the place to visit at Compton. It has been there for many years and is kept clean and tidy. There are different size washers and also dry cleaning machines. The washers are kept very up to date which is good to know. They also do service washwe even better if you have a hectic life style
