Spent a very enjoyable morning at a workshop at Frances Alexandra Jewellery making a pair of earrings and my daughter made a pendant. Frances was very friendly and helped develop our designs. We were shown how to use the equipment, it was a very hands on experience. We were very pleased with our jewellery.
My experience was exceptional from start to finish. Alex offers a truly remarkable service. Over the past year, I commissioned two bespoke pieces—one a necklace featuring a half sovereign coin, and the other a gold signet ring crafted from some of my mother's gold. Alex took great care to understand my vision for each piece and brought it to life with remarkable precision. I am absolutely delighted with the jewellery and wholeheartedly recommend Alex to anyone seeking a unique, meaningful piece for someone special.
Ring in a day workshop. What a unique and extraordinary experience! Lots of communication and information given at point of booking. My son and his support worker attended. Alex checked beforehand if there were any 'reasonable adjustments' needed and followed these on the day and was very invested in making it an easy to understand and enjoyable experience for my son. He had the absolute best day today, he loves the ring he has made! He came home and showed me all his practise copperwork and has now found a new 'passion' thanks to all the time Alex spent demonstrating each stage of the ring making process and supporting him to realise his design, from paper to completed personalised bespoke ring! He wants to come back and try one of the other workshops too. Highly recommended
I have just spent an amazing day in a workshop with Alex. I made a silver bangle in a day, this had been a Christmas gift. I am very happy with the outcome although Alex guides you, she also lets you use your own ideas too. This was a one to one workshop and I would definitely recommend either to treat yourself or someone else as a special gift. There is the option of making a ring in a day too. Alex is knowledgeable and makes you feel very welcome. A great day!
We started working with Alexandra last year on mine and my partners wedding rings, she has been so helpful and kind from the start. We were passed down a family ring to adapt to my curved engagement ring, Alexandra took it and created it into something better than I imagined. From conception to the finished piece she knew exactly what we were looking for, and with her own profound professional knowledge was able to guide us. I literally cannot recommend her enough!!
I dont often post reviews but Alex's work is so good that i felt it only right !I have very small wrists and have struggled for years to get a bangle to fit and have never managed to get one. Alex made me a bangle made to measure as a gift from my husband for my birthday. The piece is lovely. As a result of the quality of the work I have taken my engagement ring to be reset. Alex has made a phenomenal job of both items and is pleasure to work with . Alex is personable, talented and I would and have already recommended her.
As a birthday gift I was given a voucher for ring in a day workshop. It was a great experience to understand the process of how a ring is made and create something unique and high quality. Alex was a great tutor taking time to discuss the design, selecting the right size and teaching about the tools used. I would definitely recommend for a special treat.
