Bad experience. We booked ice skating for a family of three. When we arrived, they asked, "Do you have skates?" If not, you'd have to pay an extra £3.50 each. This is the first time I've encountered this: you have to pay for skate rental at a city skating rink. Skating time itself costs £9 per person. Okay, we paid, went to pick up our skates, and then they told us to take off our shoes and we'll give you skates. While they were giving us the skates, we had to stand on the cold floor in our socks. What's more, there's nowhere to put the skates on; there are no benches near the rental area! I've seen people just sit on the floor and put them on! That's just terrible service. There are benches and chairs near the rink itself. In other skating rinks we've visited, we were given a plastic tray with skates in it. We'd go to a bench, change our shoes, and then bring ours back to the tray for safekeeping. It's much more hygienic; the trays are easy to clean, and people aren't sitting or standing on cold floors! Please take action. The skates were so uncomfortable that I could only skate for 10 minutes due to a sharp pain in my ankles. What a service for the price!

The best place in Stirling to swim, dance, do yoga and more. Great staff, brilliant instructors and excellent facilities.

Supposed to be a public sports centre but they make it impossible to go for a swim. Not sure why you have to pre-book a session and either its unavailable or there are no spaces unless you book days in advance. Pre covid it was not like this.

For a all round fitness hub it’s fantastic, swimming ,ice skating and gym among the many activities that are available I’m at the gym most days as part of my fitness journey lost over 9.5st with the staff available to help with any fitness related challenges that may arise

I love love love the parent fit classes and my toddlers love the bouncy castle- highlight of their week. These classes are so invaluable as it’s difficult to find time when you have two children under 3 so this class is perfect and challenges me too! Other fitness classes are good but I find bodypump and some other classes feels a little bit over crowded for the space in the studio but otherwise great gym, instructors and classes.

Go skating here with the kids every week. Costs less than some of the other rinks and is a really good size that you have space to practice without bumping into other people. The ice arena is cold and while that may seem to be stating the obvious, it's much colder than others I've been in so gloves are in order if you don't want to end up with numb hands! My only issue with The Peak is that for some reason the reception queue moves incredibly slowly, despite them having 2 - 3 people on, it can take over 5 minutes to get through even a small, queue so give yourself some additional time on arrival.

Clean and clear pool, well maned by staff. The showers and wet areas are very clean and well kept. Shona the cleaner does a great job looking after the facilities, she is friendly and helpful too

Great fitness centre, you get so much for your membership: gym, pool, climbing wall, ice skating, sauna, fitness classes etc.

Went skating with my young girls and although its wasnt too busy the stewards are not the best. Both my girls fell repeatedly and despite obviously struggling just to stand the stewards offered no help, they just watched as they fell and got hurt, then just stood them up and skated off to catch up on whatever they were yapping about. Surely if they can skate they could at least show learners how to stay on thier feet? Fortunately there are a few good skaters there that did offer some helpful tips and the girls soon picked it up but shame on those stewards. We have since been to Braehead Arena and it was a world of difference. Amazingly helpful staff and have now booked lessons there as Stirling staff need learn some people skills. The stewards may not enjoy their job but at least they have one and catching up on last nights gossip is not part of it. Shameful. Hope the Peak management take note.

A well presented place that looks the part. We went swimming here but my god the water was Baltic in the main pool. For the price paid I’m sure they could turn it up a couple degrees in there. It ended up we moved over into the training pool which was substantially warmer. The changing rooms were well presented and there is a sauna and steam room etc in the changing area which I’m sure is lovely but as we had the little person with us we couldn’t try it out. The showers are all private and enclosed so you have the privacy to wash properly which isn’t normally the case at swimming pools so that’s quite handy.
