   Absolutely fabulous work done on my Focus ST at Scuffs. Spoke with Daz who was a pleasure to talk to and he fitted my car in quickly, gave me a great price too. The work was completed in 2 days. As you can see below it was quite a significant bit of damage and (bare in mind I need to give it a wash) now it looks like new. Will definitely use in the future for paintwork repair etc. Already recommended a mate who's Merc has lacquer peel to contact Scuffs.

   The rear bumper needed painting and alloys some more other scratches etc.., it had deep scratches and chipped paint on bumper. Unfortunately, I don't have a before photo. The car in this color, which is usually difficult to color match. He had warned me in advance that the color match might not be 100%, but as you can see 100% matching the colors. There was a plastic cover on front seat which I appreciated their attention to clean work. With their polite, friendly approaches and willingness to help, there is no reason not to be a regular customer. Thank you very much again.

   I’ve used Darren before, as have several family members, so this isn’t just a one-off scathing review. I went to him for a front bumper repair and to sort some slight rust on the rear arches of my car. When I picked the car up, I noticed a tyre was nearly flat (1psi). Darren sorted it and refunded the repair cost — which I appreciated — but unfortunately, that was the last thing that went smoothly. The real problems started after I washed the car in daylight the next day. The paint on both rear arches was completely the wrong shade of white — one side worse than the other. Darren agreed to re-do the job, but the second attempt was even worse, with mismatched paint now blended into the door. There was also overspray on the front wheel and also on the splitter, and side skirt (from the previous time the work was carried out). I pointed all of this out in person, and he agreed the colour was wrong — but told me, “I can’t give you all your money back.” To this day I’ve received a partial refund, but I’m still £1,000 down and have had to pay over triple the original amount at another body shop to have the job fixed properly. That shop even provided a report outlining everything that had been done wrong — which Darren chose to ignore on multiple occasions. It’s extremely disappointing, especially from a place that on their website claims to offer “the highest standard of repairs.” Unfortunately, that wasn’t my experience at all. It’s a shame it’s come to this, Darren. It really is.
