The stock is ok the staff are always tirelessly restocking however, the security guard is rude and unprofessional, he can be unhelpful and talks a-lot of irrelevant topics to the staff when they are serving customers. The parking system is much better since they changed it a few months back
Very disappointing and upsetting experience at B&M (Store: B72 1RX – 29/11/2024) I am writing to share the awful treatment I received at this store during my visit. At around 10:40 AM, I approached the till to pay for my items and politely asked a customer service agent named Nat to help me retrieve a perfume from the locked cabinet. I explained that I am pregnant and have a medical condition that makes it difficult for me to move around, and kindly asked if she could get the key for me. Instead of assisting, Nat told me to go to another till and then accused me of being rude and having a “tone.” I assured her I was not being rude, but her attitude quickly became unpleasant. I asked to speak with the manager (Katie), but instead of supporting me or resolving the issue, I was made to feel completely unheard. The situation escalated when I asked if this treatment was because of the colour of my skin, as I felt discriminated against. Nat responded very defensively, saying she has a “bi-racial family” and told me not to “pull the race card.” Her tone became even more aggressive, while the manager asked if Nat was okay—but not once asked me if I was okay, even though I was clearly upset. The general manager eventually came out, and I made it clear that I wanted to file a formal complaint. Although I was handed a note with the complaint details, the experience was handled terribly. I later contacted B&M customer service, but was told nothing could be done, which is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. No customer—especially someone pregnant or vulnerable—should be treated this way. I hope B&M seriously reviews this store’s customer service and investigates the behaviour of both staff members involved.
Lovely friendly staff , very helpful. What I think is absolutely terrible, is that there is NO SECURITY STAFF , in there on a night time . Would be interesting to know, how much B & M , as a company value their staff . As this is putting them in danger, every time they are at work . Hence 2 stars .
Excellent branch of B and M. Usual products and deals. Good size carpark. Make sure you read the parking rules.
B and M is definitely my favourite place for the purchase of snacks, food, electrical equipments and household accessories, all of shich I've bought at mord than one of their branches on many occasions.
Love this shop but stock is sometimes low, probably due to popularity. Store can be messy but that might be down to customers not putting things back where they belong. Staff are lovely.
I like shopping at M&M with my grandchildren. They have a lot of items from major brands at reasonable prices. Staff is helpful and courteous
Really like a mooch round B&M, Aussie Cadbury's chocolate to boot- yummy. Shame the car park was awful drove round at least 6 times to find a place to park. Shouldn't have gone on a Saturday lunchtime.
Good selection but terrible customer service. A representative was helping me find an item, only to the walk away and jump on the tills leaving me standing. The online stock check is useless, and states items are in-stock when they're not.
