   Little one has been having lessons here for the last 7 weeks. His teacher is fantastic and he has learnt more in 7 lessons then he did during 20 lessons at another major swimming pool in the area. Love the fact that the classes are small so the swimming instructor gives a lot of one to one time with each student

   Great little training pool. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Focus on smaller class sizes and so teaching children in a more intimate, quiet, intensive manner. Our 5 year old enjoys his lessons here very much. Recommended for parents looking to get swimming lessons; not cheap, but worth the price.

   My daughter had been to other swimming lessons when she was younger, but she started at the Halstead Centre a couple of years ago, coming in at stage 5. She has now finished all the stages, including the competitive swimming stage. She’s really enjoyed coming to swimming lessons at the Halstead Centre. Her technique has improved greatly and she now has great skills for joining a swimming club and doing competitions.

   My son's usual teacher Ella is amazing with the children. I would give her 5+ stars. However, my son had a different swimming teacher this lesson. She was very assertive and told him off a couple of times because he couldnt hack backstroke rather than encouraging him or reassuring him. He was very upset in the pool and then he came out crying and I asked her why she was like that with him during the lesson and she said she wasn't when I could see and hear what was being said during the lesson. She really upset my son, so he will not be returning. I contacted the manager at the Halstead centre and she never got back to me, there was no apology or anything and my son had been going there 2+ years. Very disappointed.

   1st swimming lesson today of my 3 year old grandaughter. Only 3 in the class which is great. You think half hour is not long but she learnt loads. She loved it. Worth ever penny cant wait for next week

   We originally started swimming lessons for our children here until they for a place at the local authority pool swimming lessons which were a lot cheaper. We never stopped. The small group classes, the excellent coaching skills of Aaron and the team have created confident and skilled swimmers beyond what would otherwise have been achieved. Highly recommended.
