What a gem of a place. My daughter (18) and I spent 5 hours in this delightful workshop full of tools and curiosities. We were complete beginners but still managed to produce some beautiful jewellery. Tracy & Martin are relaxed tutors and let us loose (with tuition) on pretty much whatever we wanted to do. I had taken along a few photos of simple items i liked and my daughter was encouraged to be inventive on the day! The time flew and after sawing, hammering, filing, soldering, polishing and cleaning we came away with our own bespoke items and a huge sense of achievement. I would give them six stars, all gleaming silver of course! Will definitely be back, thank you both so much for sharing your time, skill & knowledge.

Had an amazing time at St Albans School of Jewellery. Attended a workshop as part of a Hen Do and came away with a beautiful silver bangle that I made with the help of the fabulous tutors. They were so kind, helpful and supportive - what an amazing place. Thank you so much.

The tuition I receive from Martin and Tracy is outstanding. The class is well run, well equipped and the workshop has a wonderful vibe to it. There are loads of projects to do or you can do a project of your own. Either way you are coached and encouraged every step of the way and always leave feeling like you have really accomplished something no matter what level you are at.

The St Albans School of Jewellery is a little jewell itself! The ambient has charm, is relaxed and extremely well organized. The level of teaching is outstanding , all your questions will always be answered and Martin and Tracy’s extensive and comprehensive knowledge and expertise are fully available to the students . The schools range of tools , all available to the students, is simply excellent . Student will be not only taught from any level they are at, but also encouraged and inspired.

This is the place where you go to find creativity, both through encouragement from the teachers Tracy and Martin plus from other students. Its a small run workshop teaching silversmithing and gem setting. Inspiring and a place where I find the the 3 hours goes all too quickly. Whether you do one of the day or night courses or take the firm for an unusual day experience, everyone comes away with something to be proud of.

St Albans School of Jewellery is run by two extremely talented and experienced jewellers - Martin and Tracy, in their stunning workshop. The classes are small and designed to accomodate students at any level and each student can pick their own project. The studio is very well equipped with a wide range of tools. I love the creative and vibrant atmosphere of the place and look forward to my classes every week.

I have been going to the studio for about 4 years. It is the most magical place. You are made to feel so welcome , all levels , all ages are made to feel welcome. Nothing is too much trouble. The tuition is first class and the equipment is extensive. If you want to learn to make jewellery or to learn more skills look no further. First class plus .
