“I did my piercing course with Alex and he was absolutely amazing. He explained everything so clearly, was patient, supportive, and really made sure I understood every step. His professionalism and passion for what he does honestly made the whole experience even better. I couldn’t have asked for a better trainer thank you so much, Alex”
“I’m extremely satisfied with both the product and the customer support. Although part of my order was lost during shipping, the support team responded incredibly quickly and was exceptionally helpful. They immediately arranged for a replacement, which arrived in no time. Truly outstanding service!”
“The silver clay day was AMAZING, Penny was a wonderful teacher, great at explaining things and answered all my questions. I love that we weren't rushed and felt like we had plenty of time for everything. It was so nice to be surrounded by like minded people and I can't wait to come back for another course!”
“Wonderful experience! I don't have any background in jewellery and took the Beginner's Silver Jewellery and Beginner's Metal Clay classes and found the tutors patient, friendly, and full of helpful tips and advice! Having individual work benches and tools also really helps, as you can work at your own pace. Would definitely recommend!”
“Amazing offer of courses from Music to Wellbeing. High qualified teachers always willing to help and improve your skills...courses at very affordable prices.”
“My daughter and her friends loved the jewellery making party! There was a huge range of beads and charms which the girls could chose from. I would definitely recommend Pure Poppy, without any hesitation!”
“I attended a copper rose workshop with my husband to celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary! We had an amazing workshop with Sara. She was very welcoming and clearly very skilled but also a skilled teacher. I felt a bit nervous but was very quickly reassured and supported throughout the session. We each produced a stunning copper rose which now have pride of place at home. We both loved the experience and can’t recommend Sara highly enough!”
“What an inspirational day learning about enamelling on copper! Eleanor is a super hostess, such a welcoming, kind, methodical and informative teacher! We had lots of time to experiment with techniques, and fully finish four pieces. I would definitely recommend and I can’t wait to go back for future courses ✨”
“I absolutely loved making my trinity pendant and I am very proud to wear it. Ela is a great teacher and the morning was really enjoyable. I can’t wait to do another workshop and learn more about making jewellery.”
“My sister and I did for part of her 50th and it was wonderful. Really fun morning and great piece of jewellery that shall be treasured!”
“I recently had a bespoke jewellery piece made by She's Lost Control for a birthday gift, and I couldn't be happier with the result. The entire process was smooth and enjoyable. The jeweller listened to my ideas and offered great suggestions, ensuring the final design was perfect.”
“My mother and I did the pottery wheel experience for her 75th birthday! We had a lovely time, Janet was very patient in explaining all the techniques to us and showed us each step of the pot making process. We both loved it! Thank you”
“I joined the drawing course at Sunny Art Academy and couldn’t be happier with my experience! The tutors are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about art, guiding students through every step with clear explanations and practical demonstrations. The course builds a strong foundation in key skills like proportion, perspective, and shading, while also encouraging personal creativity. The studio itself is welcoming and inspiring, with a friendly atmosphere that makes learning enjoyable. I’ve noticed real improvement in my drawing ability in just a few weeks, and each lesson leaves me excited to keep practising. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills, I highly recommend Sunny Art Academy – it’s one of the best art schools in London!”
“Lovely shop. Well stocked for arts and crafts. Some people say its pricey but don't think it is compared to other independent art supply shops in Rochester or Canterbury for example. Staff helpful and they have a lovely range of gift items and greetings cards too.”
“Wonderful experience at Handweavers studio & gallery. The 4 days beginners course is perfect to introduce yourself in the handweaving world. And they have all kind of materials, looms and bookshelves especialized in weaving. They are moving to Dorset, new challenges both online and immersive courses!”
“I love Hobbycraft for kids party gifts. It's arts and crafts and other activities. Mine are in year 2 and 4 and I'm sure I'll continue to frequent here for kids birthday party gifts for awhile yet.”
“Always a good experience, helpful staff loads of stuff”
“My daughter and her friends had a lovely time painting beautiful mugs. They all enjoyed the experience and would definitely go back. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this place”
“Rachel made my now wife and my wedding rings, pooling together from our joint cache of jewellery. Felt totally comfortable in her expertise and the resulting rings more than met out expectations. Highly recommend Rachel for your personal jewellery requirements and she's a lovely person too.”
“I’m currently completing my second course with Stelios (stone setting) and I would blindly recommend his classes to anyone looking into getting into or building upon their wax carving or metalworks skills. His classes help you build a very strong technical foundation. He is really attentive and gives insightful advice along your journey. Stelios takes his craft very seriously which is inspiring but equally importantly, he’s very fun and kind and has built a lovely community with like minded people around him. This makes his courses super fun, which is the cherry on top!”
“Had a fantastic time learning how to make a leather satchel bag with Natasha! Over the two days I learnt the basics on pattern cutting, how to choose your leather, sewing (machine and by hand) and constructing my bag, from reinforcing, to burnishing etc. On top of that, Natasha was very knowledgeable and great company throughout and I walked out with a beautiful personalised bag! Would highly recommend (also makes for a great gift experience)”
“Amazing experience. Ann is so knowledgable. She pushed us to be creative and gave us the guidance and support to achieve our ideas! Such fantastic value for money. A warm welcome, a fantastic hands on workshop and a lovely lunch too! A wonderful way to spend a day. Can’t recommend highly enough. Can’t wait to see how these come out!”
“Just love this place so many amazing courses great tutors lovely studios to work in”
“Hannah is such a lovely and intuitive person. I only knew that i wanted something from her but wasn't sure what it should be. She had the perfect idea for me and the outcome was so wonderful, it's still my favourite piece of jewellery and i love it very very much! Everything went so smoothly with her. Highly recommended!”
“The K2 Academy offers a distinctive, stretching and rewarding contemporary jewellery making programme. K2’s approach to design development leads to the creation of unique jewellery pieces and collections and the opportunity to gain a recognised qualification in jewellery making and design. Katrin and Kelvin bring their considerable talents knowledge and experience to their teaching approach providing insight, constructive challenge, practical support and encouragement. I would urge anyone looking for a structured accredited course or specialist one-off jewellery making workshops to opt for K2. You will not find a better place to realise your creative aspirations. You will learn techniques that are rarely available on other courses such as Electroforming and Kum-boo and the small class groups mean that you will be able to share knowledge and learn from other students as well. If you can get to London then I recommend going along to one of the Cockpit Arts (Bloomsbury) Open Days and use the opportunity to visit the K2 workspace and be blown away by the skill, creativity and uniqueness of the students work. Then sign up, you won’t look back.”
“I’ve ordered quite a few times over the years from IC and I really like their products. I’ve had no problems at all. I recommend them and I will continue to buy from them.”
“Enjoyed a brilliant course here, learning way more than I expected and actually making some nice jewellery! Our tutor, Tai, was excellent, guiding us through a range of techniques but also helping us make individual items of our own choice. (I made two sets of silver earrings as well as rings. These are silver-smithing classes rather than gem-setting or bead work.) The very small classes and well-equipped workshop mean you get a lot of personal attention and are not waiting around to use tools. I thoroughly recommend it.”
“I can't recommend this outlet highly enough. Fantastic, personal service over the phone. Great prices, fast delivery. I never write reviews but had to for this level of service.”
“Steve has made several pieces for us over many years from diamond earrings to our engagement ring, wedding band and more recently eternity ring and our daughters 21st birthday pendant. We have been delighted with all his work. All pieces are bespoke and the feedback and consultation process before the work begins is excellent. He is a thorough professional and a credit to his trade.”
