   I love Hobbycraft for kids party gifts. It's arts and crafts and other activities. Mine are in year 2 and 4 and I'm sure I'll continue to frequent here for kids birthday party gifts for awhile yet.

   I am really disappointed with my recent visit. Firstly I had there was a wrong item in my click&collect order, which I can understand, with the pre-Christmas rush. But what left me really upset, was the attitude one of the staff members, who I asked for help. She was rude and condescending, which was actually really upsetting.

   Nice shop, friendly staff, calm atmosphere. I won't recommend for sewing on the basis most of the fabric is indian cotton and doesn't feel anything special in comparison to any local shop stock. They seem to have more stock online so definitely will look to order vs come in person next time. Seems to be a great store for other crafts.

   Literally went in to return an item, I purchased less than an hour ago. When I came out I realised I had my old receipt and another one with only 2/3 items that I returned. I went straight back into the store and explained what had happened. I was then told that I was given x3 receipt’s which was not the case. The lady (Jacqueline) refunded 2/3 items on one receipt and supposedly another on a next receipt which was no where to be found and a copy was refused. Plus the items were all purchased on 1 receipt what was the reason for multiple receipts? Then the disrespect I received from staff basically calling me a liar. I told the manager to look at the camera so he could see what happened and he claimed it wouldn’t be seen….. I’m sure he would’ve been able to see x3 receipt’s coming out of the till. Did they think I was trying to scam them for a hole puncher? Plus that manager is horrid when I said “I shouldn’t of came back.” straight way he wanted to jump down my throat thinking I was trying to be rude but my point was sometimes the hassle for simple things aren’t worth it. It’s obvious the lady that served me threw it away and he had to stick up for his colleague. Plus I’m sure she didn’t think I’d come back within seconds for it. I don’t get why they would think I’d need to lie about a refund receipt. It would be impossible to do anything fraudulent and people need to stop judging others because the manager's approach was totally dismissive and disrespectful.

   Although I love the shop itself I was very disappointed when I got there the voucher, which should have been there the day before, had not arrived!!! I had sat in traffic for roughly 40 mins! I was told that I would get an email when it arrived at the shop. That is not what my email said, I purchased it on the 19th, and the email says it is available for collection the next day! Today is the 21st! Why couldn't they give me one from the shops own stock?

   We were looking to buy a starter sewing machine for two little girls. Katherine was so helpful and knowledgable, we really felt she knew what she was talking about and advised on different machines. Katherine is an asset to the store. Would visit again!!

   Great for all my crafting/business needs! Found most of what I needed the last few shops. So glad they opened this branch which is 20 minutes drive from me. Was travelling over an hour before!
