“I attended the Beginners Fused Glass workshop last Sunday 14th July making several items. What a treat! A full day of learning how to (safely) cut glass before creating a lovely star, a slump bowl, coaster, 2 pieces of jewellery and a pretty little box to keep the jewellery in and eating lots of delicious cakes! Melanie is the best, providing support and sharing her knowledge with you, allowing you to create something very special.”

    Bradford Bead Shop

“My first time visiting the shop yesterday but most definitely not my last. The lady working was just amazing, really welcoming and helpful, talking me through the various beads and sizes. I mentioned i was looking to try my hand at loom weaving and she spent time showing me how the different sizes change the look of the finished item (im a total novice) and gave me loads of hints and tips on how to set it up etc. Its clear she really knows her stuff and loves what shes doing. I bought a few ready prepped kits to have a go at. I have done the first one today - a bracelet - I found the instructions really clear to follow and I now have a lovely bracelet. Honestly this shop is a hidden gem I am so happy I went in. Thank you.”

“I found Stuart on the internet having been told by a few stained glass artists that what I wanted could not really be done. I wanted a bespoke piece of stained glass for my wife's 70th birthday present. I gave Stuart a photograph taken from a headland of my wife's favourite beach in Cornwall. I marked out the leaded lines and sent it to Stuart. I thought the lead parts would be marked out with a Sharpi pen on the glass but when the piece arrived Stuart had done the lead bits in glass, fantastic. The piece was on much thicker glass than I expected. I am over the moon with the result and I suspect that once my wife sees this I will be going back for another piece. Stuart was very pleasant to deal with and the piece arrived in the post well packaged and damage free. Great price for a bespoke piece of stained glass which is so personal. That you Stuart. Cannot recommend him highly enough.”

“My partner and I done an inlay ring workshop with Sarah, we had a brilliant day and both left with a beautiful ring. Sarah is such a beautiful person and a great instructor, she made the workshop fun and enjoyable. The facilities are very comfortable with refreshment throughout the day and a tasty lunch at the bar/restaurant next door. Inca (my partner) is already hinting to book another workshop at the glamorous owl.”

“A little gem. In these days where you are forced to buy on line, it's great to still have a shop where you can look, touch a do a little gabbing with fellow crafters. In a relaxed atmosphere, staff are happy to help, but leave you alone to look.”

“What a gem of a shop, so much to look at and love. A small premises jam packed with gorgeous crafted goods. Never been before, happened on it accidentally, but will definitely be back. Spent more than I’d anticipated and could have bought more. Such a lovely lady in there too, even shared a giggle about a highly inappropriate Christmas card for the mother-in-law!”

“Just completed the 8 week level one silver clay course with Ana and I can't recommend it highly enough. Each session was packed with learning and the course as a whole is incredible value. We completed six pieces of jewellery and gained a wide range of skills with which to build on. I am much more confident now when planning, designing and making new pieces of jewellery. Ana is always very generous with the tips, techniques and information she shares with her students and classes are always fun, the cakes are great too.”

    Silver Forge

“I commissioned Jo from Silver Forge to design and craft something very special for a friend who'd lost her lifelong feline friend Stanley Sparkle, we were lucky enough to have an imprint of his paw, and Jo suggested a supplier of hers to cast a new mould so as not to wreck the original, from which the paw was scaled down and a beautiful minature scale piece was created in sterling hallmarked silver, correct in every detail. Her communication, empathy and openness to suggesting ideas and modifying others was first class, and we got the intricate crafted piece in time for Christmas - all arriving is super secure boxing, including Crhistmas card, handwritten note and chocolate, and presentation box. Friends agree with me it's beautiful, and I'm sure the recipient is going to cry with joy. Couldn't be happier, it wasn't cheap but then memories don't have a price you can measure in currency. No photos as the piece is incredibly personal but you won't make a safer and better choice than Jo”

“I had such fun at the DIY workshop, making a step stool. Sami is a brilliant teacher and I learned so much in just day. I got to use a number of power tools that I never would have dreamed of picking up before. Sami's very hot on health and safety which was reassuring. AND she provided a lovely healthy, tasty lunch. It was a perfect day. I left with a gorgeous step stool to reach the high shelves in my study, and very energised and motivated for more. Highly recommend Just Lovett Workshops!”
