My husband bought this Jewllrey making course as a birthday present. I would highly recommend giving it a go - I was a complete beginner but somehow with lots of help and guidance from Emma and the team I managed to make a ring. Sandcasting and working with silver was addictive I loved it! I will be doing more I’m sure. My husband was impressed! Thank you to all of you for making me feel so welcome & for being so encouraging- You have a fabulous place & a great community !

Daughter's message: I love my custom opal necklace and ring. They are both stunning and complemented my prom dress beautifully. I hold Emma and her talent in the highest regard. Her ability to make something so original and central to someone is honestly amazing. Highly recommend!

Attended a jewellery making session at the Emma White Jewellery studio with my daughter. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We paid for a private four-hour session - the dates of the scheduled workshops didn't work for us but Emma and Rachel were so accommodating and put together a tailored workshop to suit us. We managed to make a ring stack each as well as an extra one. Rachel, who led our session, was amazing. The studio has a lovely community feel to it and is in a fabulous setting. Will definitely be returning in the future.

I do not know where to start... Emma and The Dream Team are amazing! I have started coming to the jewellery making classes nearly 32 months ago (nearly 3 years) and would not look back. I watched BBC programme 'All that Glitters,' where Emma was one of the finalists, and that got me hooked on the idea of trying jewellery making. You can start learning how to make a bangle or a ring, and all tutors will guide you through the process, supporting you well. You can progress to making more jewellery, learn how to do stone setting (there are various ways to do that), do some metal forming (we've recently learnt how to make flowers), make spinning rings/bangles, and do all sorts of silversmithing, casting, wax carving, and making jewellery out of silver clay. I even made a wedding band from scratch. Emma and Tutors are a great team and this is partly what makes me feel welcome:-) I feel like I belong to this amazing jewellery making community. I've learnt so much thanks to Emma, and all Tutors (apologies for not mentioning the name, but you know you are All wonderful) and fellow jewellers, we've had some good laughs and some frustrating times when nothing was working the way I've expected.:-) And this past term I've been working on some pendants for my Mum and my sister (her wedding gift) , as well as trying to make some flowers (still work in progress), see attached photos. I would like to encourage you to have a go and try (if you're not sure try a weekend workshop). The classes are not prescriptive and there's an optional project every term but you can work on your own. It's enjoyable, sometimes feels bonkers when you play with the sand (for sand casting), and therapeutic in a mindful way. Basically, I think I started out of curiosity and ended up finding something precious...

Emma made a spinner ring for my daughter Elisha. It arrived promptly and was absolutely gorgeous. My husband Mike is an artist and generally hard to find a gift for but when he saw Elisha’s ring, he fell in love with it. I contacted Emma and asked if she could make a spinner ring with a different engraving. She said yes! She also made a bigger size for me without extra charge. Mike and Elisha love their rings. Engaging with Emma has been a delight, she even included a little Christmas gift for me. Emma is a very special artist, her beautiful heart shows in her work and her kindness is a gift I will treasure.

I wanted a peacock feather earring as soon as I saw Emma make it on All That Glitters. I treated myself during Black Friday and decided I wanted a matching stud earring. Emma was excited to create my mismatched pair of earrings and created my personal stud. My earrings arrived promptly by signed post and they are amazing, they make me feel really special.

I attended a bangle making workshop here and, as someone who'd never tried jewellery making before, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The teacher, Rachel, was friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. The materials and tools provided were great, with time being taken to ensure that you were completely happy with your finished item of jewellery. The studio surroundings and available parking were great and a lovely, tasty lunch was provided. Highly recommend

Had such a fab day attending the Spinning Ring workshop run by Rach recently. Rach was so very welcoming and instantly put me at ease as I'd never done anything like that before - I was slightly nervous beforehand I have to admit. During the day I created a beautiful piece of jewellery that I love and will honestly treasure as I made it from scratch and am really rather proud of myself. Lunch and refreshments were provided and were lovely. The learning environment was exactly at the right pace and plenty of time was allowed for questions and demonstrations at every stage of the process. I attended this course on my own and had a really enjoyable day to myself learning a new craft. I will definitely be back! Thanks guys x

A friend, her teenage daughter and I took a bangle making workshop at The Jewellery Makers this past weekend, and cannot recommend them highly enough. Rachel, who led our workshop was brilliant. Super clear instructions, great demonstrations, engaging and encouraging, and awesome fun into the bargain! What more could one ask for?! The equipment in the studio is plentiful and of excellent quality, and at no point were any one of us waiting spare, as Rachel made sure we were all making continuous progress. The day included a lovely warming lunch in the workshop (a well-earned break!), and endless hot drinks and biscuits, which somehow Rachel magically kept us supplied with while also keeping us on track! Special pleasure at tucking into a Tunnock's teacake - quality! We had an incredibly fun day, learnt a huge amount, and feel super pleased with ourselves. My friend's daughter is absolutely thrilled with her three beautiful new bangles, which look stunning together - I can't properly believe that *we* made them - Rachel really is a miracle worker! Special commendation to Emma, for being amazing and lovely to deal with as we had to rearrange our day several times due to covid restrictions. Emma was patient, accommodating and reassuring -- which was incredibly kind - things have been difficult for everyone. All three of us won't hesitate to go back to learn and create more ... I for one, hope it's sooner rather than later!
