I attended the Christmas decorations workshop today and absolutely LOVED it. Stuart, Gordon and Rufus were so welcoming and expertly guided the group as we made our own decorations. None of us had any experience but we were all able to make fabulous decorations that I bet we’ll treasure for years to come. I can’t recommend it enough.
Thank you both for a wonderful workshop. Val and l really enjoyed the experience and the finished decorations will be on our tree this year. Looking forward to attending another workshop with you in the new year.
I found Stuart on the internet having been told by a few stained glass artists that what I wanted could not really be done. I wanted a bespoke piece of stained glass for my wife's 70th birthday present. I gave Stuart a photograph taken from a headland of my wife's favourite beach in Cornwall. I marked out the leaded lines and sent it to Stuart. I thought the lead parts would be marked out with a Sharpi pen on the glass but when the piece arrived Stuart had done the lead bits in glass, fantastic. The piece was on much thicker glass than I expected. I am over the moon with the result and I suspect that once my wife sees this I will be going back for another piece. Stuart was very pleasant to deal with and the piece arrived in the post well packaged and damage free. Great price for a bespoke piece of stained glass which is so personal. That you Stuart. Cannot recommend him highly enough.
Attended a wonderful glass fusing workshop earlier this month. Stuart led the workshop ( Gordon was doing his own later that day with a different medium). Great atmosphere, people were made to feel very welcome, nice and relaxed vibe. The group was small, the session was interesting and it was great to have an insight into glass fusing. Stuart gave a great overview of what glass we would be working with, the equiment we would be using etc. and it was a terrific experience to make several items with guidance and support from both gents. I would highly recommend this workshop and I definitely want to learn more, the shop has a wide range of beautiful items made from glass and very reasonably priced given the work that goes into creating them. All the " Equipment" is provided, the coffee is rather nice too.
What a fantastic and fun experience. Stuart and Gordon were very patient and informative making the fused glass course interesting and inspiring. I would highly recommend visiting the studio, either as a participant on a craft course, or to purchase the lovely items lovingly created by the gents themselves. A 5 star experience which will be repeated soon I hope.
Fabulous!!! Was unable to pick up my two pieces so requested they were delivered. They arrived the day after. Ordered two candle holders. One a cat design and one a panda design. Both absolutely gorgeous and exactly what I wanted!!!!! Thank you so much!!! Will be visiting again soon.
Thank you Stuart for a wonderful day yesterday. You created a relaxed, easy atmosphere to learn how to cut glass and create with it. Ruby and Ralph added to the comfort and hilarity, and thank you for the all day tea making and generous chocolate biscuit provision. Can't wait to see how the experimental toucan coaster turns out as well as my panel and tea light holder. I would whole heartedly recommend your full day workshop for an absolute beginner.
