   The store and all the staff are amazing. The range of haberdashery and crafts is extensive and inspirational. Hence, the 3 stars. However, as far as the quality of wool (premium acrylic yarn) from The Woman's Institute is nothing but a pain in the "wrist." It is nigh impossible to find the beginning of the yarn from the centre, and then, it just comes out in clumps of knots. I've spent so much time trying to unravel the yarn that I'm just about to give up and go buy a better quality from somewhere else.

   Went to Rochester haberdashery and couldn't find some really nice buttons so I thought I would give hobbycraft a go and after I explained to a lady what I needed and what for she helped me to their buttons section, she picked out a little sparkling bee , was exactly what I had in mind with other buttons that would go , was amazing, thank you

   I normally have a pleasant experience in store but today I was made to feel very uncomfortable by your security guard who followed myself and my children around the store. Everytime I looked up he was at the end of the aisle watching me. It was reasonably busy so I don't understand why he decided I looked like a shoplifter and targeted me specifically to follow from one end of the store to the other & then to the till. I have never before been targeted in such a way whilst shopping. I visit this shop regularly and always end up spending a fair amount of money, however if I am treated like this in store again I will be taking my custom elsewhere.

   Love coming here to stock up on my craft supplies and finding new craft ideas. The staff are really friendly and helpful nothing seems to be a bother for them when you have a question or need help finding something. Would definitely recommend coming here for your craft needs no matter what you are looking for. Great atmosphere and easy to navigate the store and great for buggy’s and wheelchairs as the isles are wide enough for them to get through and the store is all on one level so don’t need to worry about stairs and there is disabled parking right outside the doors.
