I go on quiet days ,I avoid Saturdays and the park run and school holidays, great park for a flat walk and a lovely river , the cafe worth a visit . The gents that do the model boats are a joy and it's lovely to watch . Parking is payable in both car parks but you find people try and park on the roads round and about.

Millhouse Park is a lovely spot for both relaxation and recreation. It’s perfect for a peaceful walk, with plenty of open space and greenery to enjoy. Families will especially appreciate the well-maintained children’s play area, which keeps little ones entertained for hours. The cafeteria with pond view with boat rides adds a charming touch. On top of that, the park offers a variety of playgrounds and sports areas, so there’s something for everyone. Whether you’re looking to unwind, spend quality time with family, or enjoy some outdoor activities, Millhouse Park is a great choice.

This is such a great park; a real asset for the local community! Set alongside the busy and noisy Abbeydale Road it seems to go on forever; so many facilities in one place and once you are in the park it’s wonderfully peaceful. When I visited just a couple of days ago it was very popular: joggers, cyclists, young families, dog walkers all using the paths plus fields, courts and even a boating lake. There’s ample parking plus toilet facilities and a great cafe.

This park is perfect for everyone. Here you have a playground for children, a place where you can buy breakfast, ice cream, drinks, toilets, tennis courts, basketball courts, football, bowling and table tennis. Tables with benches where you can have a picnic, a lake with boats, the Sheaf River, a small flower garden. It is the most diverse park. It is a great place.

Play areas for a good range of ages, ice cream van, nice cafe, pay and display parking, but not on the road outside. Nice riverside walk and lovely views of woodland on Sheffields hillsides.

Great park, good for the kids, for dog walking and also for adults too. Decent cafe and facilities. Parking on the road is free, but the carpark needs payment, and the parking wardens attend regularly, so be careful!

A lovely park with a good childrens play area. A small boat lake, and a small fitness area. Been going to this park for a long time. Back in the day, there was a open air lido, a real kids playground, which had a really big slide, rocking horse and roundabout.. Back when kids playgrounds were fun..

A lovely clean park with something to do for everyone regardless of age. Tennis, basket ball courts, toddler play area, boating lake, skate park, climbing frames, with plenty of wild life to observe. Ideal for a picnic, jog, cycling, of exercise. Ample of free parking alongside the main road, or a fee car park closed by too.

Not too busy in the park but the cafe is very hectic. Take a flask and a sandwich with you. Lots of seats by the river. Lovely and clean and a kids playground. Also bowling green is open.
