Went to a Christmas party on Saturday in the rugby suite. It was country and western theme, the live singer was very good. Drinks were over priced at Β£6.50 for a single jd and coke. I had a burger, I think you can get better food from a local garage to microwave at home. We left after the live singer ended, and cut the evening short, as the dj was terrible at chosing music, but good at clearing the dance floor. So I wouldn't recommend over all unfortunately.

Came with our 1 year old for the 1st time and sadly will be the last. The session we booked had a school turn up, so kids were blocking the main entrance. The teachers from the school were also not watching the kids and my baby was nearly knocked over. who was holding my hand, Luckily picked her up in the nick of time as they stormed past. The changing rooms smell of urine, the pool floor looks dirty but its actually lots of rusty patches. The temperature is all over the place too. It was warmer then the toddler area but then all of a sudden went freezing then back to a warmish temperature. I had to take my daughter into the larger pool as the toddler area was not great for her. It was freezing making the squirting or splashing feel like needles hitting you. All the water features were so close together there was not an area we could take her just to let her stand up in and have a toddle around. She even was hit by a bucket out of the blue which neither of us saw and it really shocked her. The price is expensive for a very tried area. I really hope it gets a much needed refit.

We went to the new Adventure Reef play area today. Was very clean and the staff were friendly. The sensory room was very much enjoyed by my son! One thing I would mention is it was very chaotic with a lot of older children running around and not really paying attention to their surroundings in the baby area and sensory room. I felt quite anxious when two boys came charging over pushing one another near my 11 month old. I had to move him away from the soft play which was intended for his age. Another incident was an older boy around 10 years old was bouncing a ball really hard that came straight for my friendβs baby in his pram at force. Luckily the child stopped it before it hit the pram, but again, it was a little daunting seeing a ball charge towards a sleeping baby. I appreciate itβs the first day and itβs school holidays but I would recommend either having a warden to keep an eye on children in the play area whilst parents sit and have a chat. Or make parents aware that they are responsible for their child and must keep an eye on them to ensure everyoneβs safety. Big or little children. I will definitely come back, just when itβs a little quieter so I know thereβs more control over children in the baby areas and sensory room.

Visited here on the 2nd October to celebrate our toddlers birthday and the entire family was thoroughly impressed from start to finish. The building is warm and welcoming; the seasonal display in the entrance cafe is adorable and the staff are polite and approachable. The family changing rooms are very convenient and kept to a good standard. When entering the pool, was pleased to know it was a good temperature and the entertaining features in the childrenβs pool were such a hit. The little one was smiling from ear to ear the entire time and we had a great family swim. To finish off a lovely day out, we had warm drinks (shout out to my amazing oat milk pumpkin spice latte) and food at the cafe. Lola stood out amongst the staff working this day; she was so polite and accommodating of our dietary needs- the little one has multiple food allergies and she went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and all carried out with a smile. Thank you for an amazing day out!!

Overall the swimming experience was good: there was a lot of different things to do such as slides, diving boards, wave pools and a normal pool. The only thing was that I strongly disliked the changing rooms due to the cleanliness and the smell!

A lovely place to visit. I would say it was more for the younger child as there was not a lot to do with only having a wave pool, a swimming pool and a splash pad area. However there are slides for the older child which are all different speed levels and diving boards for the confident swimmer. If your child is not keen on slides then they might get bored with only the 2 pools. Both the pool are accessible for all abilities and ages which is an added bonus. Over all we had a great time and as the other reviews have said it was busy but it was the school holidays.

Visited for the first time in about a decade, and this time with our one year old. Itβs good on a midweek morning when itβs around Β£15 for two adults and a child. But I would say it needs a really good clean. There also a slide down since I last visited.

Lack of showers and no hairdryers. Super busy with 1 queue for 1 slides. Also felt very noisy. Definitely avoid school holidays time. But the inside is nice and interesting to look at. Sea waves were fun too.
