Visiting friends for the summer holidays and wanted somewhere to Paddleboard...Activities Away is a hidden little gem. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The lake is so clean and there's a coffee shop too. Brilliant way to spend 2 days on the water. Will absolutely be back.

Friendly staff and clients. Great on safety and food too. Very well run site. The lake has very good water quality. 800m around so good for long distance training.

Really enjoyed the visit to Hykeham this weekend. Disappointed that the SUP launch we booked.... Was only for one adult.... Weren't allowed to rotate users. Other than that... Staff were helpful and facilities were good. .
What an amazing place. Staff were all incredibly helpful, in fact went above and beyond which isn't something you seem to get much of these days. The lake was so clean and surprising warm too. Great facilities, toilets cafe etc. Not sampled any food but if it tastes as good as it smells it should be a winner.
We had an excellent day as a large group. We had loads of fun and cannot wait to go there again!
What a great time our family had, we started the day kayaking. My wife had never been before and the staff were brilliant, helpful right from the start, welcoming and approachable. Even with the bad weather they were out and getting things set up to make sure we had everything we needed. We went out on the kayaks for a good hour, other equipment was out and were told we were free to use whatever was out. My daughter loved every minute, the water is clear and the lake seems clean and private. Once we had finished and got changed we went to do archery, I can honestly say I don't which I enjoyed more. The instructor was light hearted but professional the whole time. A great place for outdoor water activities with the family or solo, I am really looking forward to going back.
