It is friday and Christmas has already finished, yet the centre is still closed. What makes this worse is that it has been closed for four days, and there was no clear communication or proper notice to members about this extended closure. Many people plan their routines around this centre, especially during the holidays, and turning up to find it closed without prior warning is extremely frustrating. A simple message, email, app notification, or notice at the entrance would have made a big difference. Closing for several days without informing members shows a lack of consideration for paying customers. Better communication and transparency are essential, especially from a professional organisation like Everyone Active. I hope this is taken seriously and improved going forward.

I recently joined and after my first week, I’m really pleased with the experience so far. The induction in the gym with Alena was especially helpful. She explained everything clearly and made the whole place feel welcoming from the start. The gym itself is well-equipped, clean, and comfortable to train in. There’s a good variety of machines and plenty of space, which makes workouts feel smooth and enjoyable. Overall, it’s been a great start.

Update: hot water for a total of 2 weeks or so. Back to cold water. No sign of cleaners in between lessons. When enquired at reception was told that it is too hard for them to clean in between lessons as it gets "too busy" Also stank of faeces yesterday. It was really unbearable. Pretty sure that's what they are paid for? To clean in between lessons. Mould around changing cubicles, chewing gum on floor and hair everywhere! Really unacceptable. Will be cancelling all lessons going forward. Will provide photos soon. Asked to speak to the manager yesterday but he was pool side so unable to come and speak to me Signed up for my childs swimming lessons...a 9 year old. 3 weeks in and still no hot water in the showers. The cleanliness in the changing swimming area is next to none. Extremely disappointed. Lady lady at the reception is lovely, elderly with grey hair.

I’ve been a member at The Centre in Slough for a while now, and honestly, it’s gone downhill. There’s never any hot water — the showers are always freezing cold no matter what time you go. It’s really unacceptable, especially when you’re paying for a membership that’s supposed to include proper facilities. The hygiene in the showers and changing rooms is also awful. They’re often dirty, with unpleasant smells and grime that clearly hasn’t been cleaned properly. It feels like no one actually maintains the place. For the price I’m paying every month, you’d expect at least basic standards like hot water and cleanliness. Unfortunately, it feels like the membership money goes nowhere — the facilities are neglected and the customer experience is terrible. Would definitely not recommend until they fix these ongoing issues.

I tried to take my time and be patient before writing my review.. Yet some work and actions needs to be done.. This is a gym.. and the most important things in such a place are hot water and cleaning level and frankly both are disappointing!!!! Not sure what this hot water issue is about.. yet this is not a joke.. You cant expect people to shower in freezing water.. not even in summer!! And Im not only talking about the time a technical issue was going on.. even in good times there is a water issue and everyone there knows about it, yet no action taken!!!! This is wrong.. You might really get sick because of this.. And then hygiene and cleaning level needs improvement for sure.. Especially pools and changing rooms.. Can you imagine the amount of bacteria and infections we can get because of this?? If you swimm with goggles you can even see funny disgusting things swimming around you.. Oh God.. And this is something that can be taken care of.. Changing areas too.. If you come two days in a row you might see the same hair and rubbish from the day before.. If it wasn't for those two (which cant be ignored at all, not in a gym), I would really recommend it.. Loads of things available in one place.. Love the private times they have sometimes for ladies and sometimes for gentlemen.. Team wise and people working there are friendly and nice..

Should be no star. PAYG gym use. Paid fees. Gym closed. No refund. Staff and management useless. Keep receiving membership requests. Don't join. Typically signs of suspected financial irregularities/possible bankruptcy. Should be investigated by authorities.

The new renovated gym exceeded my expectations after it reopened. The new functional training area had great equipment such as the new boxing bag and sleigh. Plus there was some new cardio machines and the layout was significantly better.

This place is a joke and people working there try their best with not support from central customer service. I have been using the swimming pool since July and despite dirty common areas, showers and changing cubicles, lockers with no key I found the pool up for the job. However in the last month or so (beginning of October), the centre has experienced lack of hot water in the showers, which meant going home to take the shower for not being able to take it in the centre. after 2 weeks of trying to get the problem solved they came out with a notice poster informing that at least for 2 more weeks, we would bear with them until the problem will be fixed. At the end of the 2 weeks I went back to the swimming to find out that not only the showers were cold, but the swimming pool was also affected by the problem. After complaining online and at the reception, asking for a compensation for my membership fee, as they did not deliver the service I paid for. They answered me saying that They could see I have been in the centre, and as a result no compensation was due. I stopped the membership but they have already taken a month in advance that they will not give me back. Just be careful, STAY AWAY FROM HERE. THEY ARE A BOUNCH OF CROOKS

Lovely clean centre for sports activities including swimming, gym, kids karate. Today was my first swimming lesson (ladies only session) and I'm very satisfied with everything. The instructor was really helpful and there were only 5 ladies in pool (beginners lesson). It has a spacious parking and a nearby bus stop.
