   My husband and I recently joined the ‘Get Active’ membership aimed at over 65 year olds. We started with a pickleball course and now play regularly in the socials.which are great fun. I also attended the magic ring class with Steph and the Yoga with Victoria J . Both are excellent instructors. There are lots of activities included in this membership, there is something for everyone.

   The gym is clean and well equipped. I haven’t used the pool or the courts, so I can’t comment on them. The app is awful to look at and navigate. It’s just a riot of colour and boxes. It definitely needs to be simplified. Also the popular classes are always booked out. I think they need more of the popular classes on the schedule. The staff and trainers are friendly and approachable.

   Great Gym, I just moved from the gym in their facilties where poor. Having joined Acheive Lifestyle Egham Orbit. Their facilites are much cleaner and also i was quite surpised that their personal trainer (Indy) approached me and others asking if we require support or help with anything. It was great to have the personal trainer go thru a personal training plan to help. me with my upper back issues and advised what i can do to strenghten that area. their steam room area is absolutely amazing great after a work out.All of their machine are great working order.

   Looking back on previous reviews I am highlighting the same issues that are recurring in this centre. The spa facilities are frequently out of use due to maintenance issues. However the centre does not offer a reduction on either membership or day passes which seems pretty unfair. I paid the extra 40 odd pounds to use the spa facility but the steam room has never worked and the sauna has been closed a number of times. Definitely not worth it for what's available which is a pity as its a lovely area which is well equipped. The swimming pool is clean and spacious and well supervised. Unfortunately the classes are practically impossible to get on at certain times of year as they are always booked up. I would suggest a limitation on the number of classes that a member can book per week as its unfair if you are trying to do even a weekly class which is popular like yoga and you cant get a free slot. However despite these points, I still give this gym 4 stars for the following. The gym is well equipped, spacious and open to all abilities and ages which is great. It is the most inclusive gym Ive ever attended, anyone : young old, less able, never been to a gym, you will all feel welcome here. The staff make a noticeable effort to encourage and promote this ethos. On a somewhat petty note, the gym could do with more plates for the racks as it can be hard to get hold of plates when all four racks are being used by lifters. Also some more free weights over 15kg. But , in saying that, there is a really good range of types of weights including free weights, kettle bells, sandbags, balls . The trainers on the whole appear pretty good, the classes are well run and coached, I can't judge the pt sessions but Ive seen them in the gym and they appear attentive to their clients and professional, apart from a small few who seem to just enjoy swishing their hair around, or looking in the mirror at their non existent biceps . But this is fairly normal in most gyms as far as I can see (I've been in over a hundred gyms ) .The trainers who actually train are attentive, interested and motivated. Overall I would recommend and with a few improvements would be an excellent facility.

   Recently joined here about 3 months ago. The selection of classes are good but there are no offerings in the afternoon at all. Also for some reason they insist you check in for each class individually or risk fines. This just feels awkward as if you have multiple classes in a row, or you gym or swim first, you need to walk out and scan back in. Decent amount and variety of machines in the gym. Membership includes an app that can be used to track and design workouts on those machines. The spa part is pretty limited, not sure why anyone would pay for a session in there. Also during my membership so far both the sauna and steam rooms have broken multiple times. They also don’t have a great access system. They don’t give members cards so you have to check in and grab a wristband every time you want to sauna, or even if you just want to walk from the gym changing to the pool area. Yet sometimes they don’t have any wristbands. The pool is fine. Has some clever technology to adjust the floor so the depth changes. Honestly not sure why that’s needed though and even in my short membership the pool has been closed a few times for faults. Overall it has what you need in a gym but some niggling issues that just get quite annoying.

   Unfortunately I had a bad experience recently where I had booked a relaxation package at the Otium Spa - use of spa facilities and a facial. The facial treatment was booked 2pm, after using the spa facilities I was left waiting until 2:25pm to be told the beautician was no longer available and they could not find her. Further, I was informed that the manager would call me to follow up - nobody has. I won't be looking to return to EO again, this was a poor experience and did not feel there was much customer service/concern.

   It’s for kids. An amazing facility for them. As an adult it was really weird. The pool is entirely surrounded by people in clothes. There is no specific viewing area which is THE most ludicrous design decision I’ve ever come across. The lanes are also over booked there were 6 people in the lane I’d booked for one hour. I immediately left.

   Otium Spa is absolutely disgusting to visit. You come to a spa with expectations to get relaxation and tranquility, but instead you get dirty pool, unclean changing rooms, it smells wet and damp and like it has never been cleaned. You find rubbish on the floor, there are big pieces of dust in the pool and also the drinking water tap is out of service for months now. The fact that it’s not clean was reported by me to the reception staff & management for a couple of times and they smile and promise it will get cleaned, but the dust in the pool still stays there for weeks. When initially you have a tour around the place before buying a membership, they don’t show this, so if you are thinking about getting into this I wouldn’t bother. Also it’s not monitored by staff at all, as people smoke vapes inside the relaxation area, watch news outloud on their phone INSIDE the sauna, use in appropriate cursing language and eat leaving all the rubbish around.

   Disappointed since the refurbishment. The pool is a good addition. However the gym upstairs seems more cramped. Alot of people seem to need more weight space. The reception staff are rude and not knowledgeable of the services they offer. No longer have a creche for kids which is a big loss for a lot of women in the area. The soft play is disappointing compared to what it used to be. Never seems to be cleaned either. All just a bit of a let down for what they want you to pay to join.

   Archive lifestyle, Egham orbit they have gym, spa, swimming, and yoga, and it’s all subscription based and they do have carpark on site. Subscription prices yes they are a bit expensive but worth it! Friendly staff there to assist and do book an appointment to check out their venue and see what they got to offer!
