Popular with our granddaughters ; a lake to walk round, ducks and geese to feed. An exciting playground for toddlers to 10 year olds. A bridge for pooh sticks, chatty fishermen; a lovely afternoon.

Pretty park with paths and fishing lakes, kids play area and skate park. Spent a lovely hot day wandering around the area. Its got free parking and paths suitable for pushchairs, bikes and walkers. Nice woods and unpaved paths yo get lost in

Beautiful in summer, muddy in winter. Asphalt paths need to be extended around the pond as drainage is poor. Woodland paths are accessible. Trees are adequately maintained. Plenty of bins for waste but some people do not want to use them - shame on them! The public are friendly as are the dog walkers. Generally a good experience.

Lovely to see the baby ducks, geese, water fowl etc; and the lake is quite clean and clear. The main paths are well maintained, so it's a shame that some areas close to the water are quite overgrown with nettles; but that might be to protect the birds from people getting too close? It would be nice to have some facilities there, e.g. a toilet block, water drinking fountains, bird watching hut and so on.

Pleasant walks around what was part of Bansleys canal. The river Dearne also runs through this park. Very relaxing xxx

I would highly recommend a visit. We had a lovely walk around the park. It was very quiet and peaceful. Glorious woodland and grassland area. It was delightful to see the wildlife on the water. Plenty of places to sit, have a picnic or run around. The only downside was litter lying around in some areas. Otherwise a great pla e to explore.

Peaceful, relaxing walking and cycling paths. Some paths have steps so are not useful for persons with disabilities. The paths can be slippery when wet. Great place to bring children and burn off excess energy. Enjoy!
