Fantastic Christmas Market. Rides, food stalls and great gift stalls. Felt it had more to offer than other Christmas markets that I've been to previously such as Edinburgh ( I think the backdrop helps sell that one!)

Peaceful, especially with the sound of the waterfall... Water fountain great for kids to play, two were there when I was and they had a joy running through trying to avoid the water springs from below. Grass area too, apart from the surrounding many benches. Beautiful building right in front of you. Good as a rest spot as you make your way through the town.

Really beautiful open space with the fabulous backdrop of the Gothic architecture of the town hall. Plenty of places to sit & enjoy the fresh air, gardens & water features.

People here in Sheffield, love this place. Irrespective of the age group, everyone gather round here. Kids engage themselves in roaming around like free birds, enjoy the fountains. People bask in the sun for hour long. Passer-by stop for a while to catch a glimpse of liveliness and release stress. One of the best spots in Sheffield. No wonder, why it's called Peace Gardens.

Its a lovely space, right in the middle or the city centre, but open and calm and peaceful. It has a fountain and on hot days lots of people come fir lunch or to chill out in the sunshine. Its a venue for events and decorations for the city

Beautiful green space in the city centre to sit and relax. Lots of lovely, well tended plants. Especially nice in spring when the cherry blossom and magnolias are in bloom. Nice bars and coffee shops around.

Very busy today, with lots of graduation students and their families in the gardens. Large sections are cordoned off as the Christmas lights and decorations are being put in place. The large wooden cabin in the centre I believe will sell alcoholic drinks and snacks. There are two large metal constructions, one is a Christmas present and the other a bauble which I think will light up. Usually a nice place to sit and have a coffee a little bit too busy and disorganised today.
