Gutted that they no longer operate due to unforeseen circumstance - we were fateful customers and they were always there for a good chat!
I went in to have a duvet washed yesterday, the owner said I would need to wait a week and then asked what I needed it for and what sort of duvet it was, luckily because it wasn’t a down duvet she was able to fit me in. Excellent quick service. I’ll be going back again in future
I brought a huge bag of washing costing £42 to wash and dry - almost every single item is ruined and the owner has avoided dealing with it. I asked them to wash and dry on a low heat and clearly they didn't. Pretty much all my clothing has shrunk in the wash, all my favourite tshirts are too small/tight now. And all my whites are ruined as you can see on the picture of just a few items. I'm absolutely gutted. I've had these clothes for years and they've been washed at other launderettes too and they've always been fine. Also they knew they'd ruined my whites, these tops were folded on the top of my washing, and they never mentioned it when I picked up my washing and paid them! I got in touch later the same day to complain/discuss it when I realised. The man was nice at the time and came out to look at the clothes the next day, however even when seeing them wouldn't admit that they had made a mistake and was saying he didn't understand why this had happened and blaming the materials - mostly standard cotton... (I don't know much but I think it's obviously been washed or dried too hot.) He then offered for me to think about if I would like some money back, even offering a year's free washing. I contacted the next day saying I would like the money back for my wash (£42) and £30 to rebuy some of the tshirts (not that this would cover much at all but I didn't want to be hard on a small business). He has since messed me around or completely ignored me. I've contacted several times since and he ignores it or replies 'thanks for your message' but that's it. All my favourite clothes are ruined and the owner is ignoring dealing with it. I won't be using them again and to be honest it's put me off using any launderettes again now.
Fast, cheap and efficient! They gave me an order half-price because it was small. You know when bath towels get damp abd they have that mouldy smell? Washing them again (with my own machine) didn't sort it. I took them to Valley Cleaning and they washed/dried them. Smell: gone.
They honestly did a great job with my very dirty rugs, Jordan was very patient with me on the phone with my 1000 questions, money was well worth it and I'm really pleased!
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Valley Cleaning has now done several jobs for me: laundry, rug cleaning, window cleaning and a whole house deep clean. I cannot recommend them enough. They are reliable, professional, caring and attentive. Their prices are very good and their service is impeccable.
Valley Dry cleaning showed great commitment when they rectified an issue and went above and beyond to correct it. I was really impressed with how quick they acted and how professional and serious they take their work. I would use them again and recommend to others. Friendly and committed staff. Thanks very much.
Called at short notice on a Saturday to come and sort a flooded carpet, Jordan and Steve arrived within the hour, were very professional with their advice, had all the right equipment, one hour later, carpet is restored to previous state. Wouldn't hesitate in using them again or recommending their service. Thanks Guys.
Cannot praise this laundry service enough. Fabulous, professional, friendly service. I used the collection and delivery service, which is free! (Not many things are these days). And they will collect and deliver to your own requirements. Sent a load of towels and bedding and a feather/down duvet. All returned next day in lovely, clean, fresh condition - and cheaper than expected, too. I'll be using Valley Cleaning again, Dawn is lovely! Don't let some of the negative reviews put you off, try it for yourself, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
