Fantastic service, the cleaners cater their cleaning to your exact needs and are very thorough. Communication with the office is excellent and they are very responsive with any queries you have. Highly recommend!
I booked NowThen for a one off deep clean, and they did an amazing job. Everything looks spotless, better than I'd hoped. The two guys that came were really nice and friendly. I'll be using NowThen in future if I need any cleaning.
I've had great experiences with this cleaning company. The deep clean I scheduled was really well done, and the weekly cleaning has been equally thorough. Cleaners from this company have been friendly, helpful, and have done a really good job - absolutely recommend!
Before cancelling today, we had been using NowThen Cleaners for around 6 months and the overall quality of the service has been poor (including customer service). Our property is very small and we were paying for a 2-hour clean every 2 weeks. Basically, all that was required was the cleaning of a kitchen and living area (very small), and bathroom and 2 bedrooms (again, very small). We initially had 2 cleaners attend for 1 hour. If I'm being generous, they did a very basic job. They frequently missed obvious things, such as vacuuming the rug in the living area, dusting, etc. I would often go out while they cleaned and on several occasions returned before the hour had finished and they had already left. This wouldn't have been a problem had they done a thorough job. At this point I was going to cancel the service, but was offered a change of cleaner and accepted. This cleaner did an OK job, however on third occasion we had booked her to clean while we were away visiting family. We were charged for the cleaning, but on returning home we found she hadn't actually been. When bringing complaints about the above to staff members, I was met with no explanations, but much defensiveness, being told on both occasions that the cleaners were good and always have good feedback - the implication being that I must be lying or unreasonable. This is one of my main reasons for leaving a poor review, because what is the point of providing feedback about a poor service if this is met with defensiveness? Presumably, they have no intention to improve. I was spoken to as if the company was doing me a favour, rather than providing a professional service I had paid for. I accepted a refund for the clean that didn't occur, but cancelled all future appointments as the overall quality of cleaning and customer service is very poor.
We needed help to clean a relatives kitchen and bathroom whilst she was in hospital. Logistically difficult as we lived 3 hours away. Faye helped us at relatively short notice and provided guidance and support and you could clearly tell she had the utmost confidence in her teams ability to deliver. I ordered a clean for the first time. They could not find parking and refused to service my address unless I secured a parking space. I had to call them to figure it out. This is very disappointing. Update: they have changed their service areas in Sheffield to exclude Kelham Island.
Had 2 cleanings and both of the ladies were fantastic. Done my whole flat to an amazing standard and very happy!!
After the clean hob in my kitchen is no longer working. It was working the days and also the night before the cleaners came … and Hugo tells me that I need to call out an engineer (at my expense, of course!) and it may be a long-standing issue with the hob. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!!!!!!!!! In response to Hugo … your first response to me did not make it clear that you would send an engineer. My initial review was positive … but that was before I discovered that the hob is now not working properly. A clean house is lovely but, given the costs of the clean, I do not need the stress of finding that a perfectly functioning piece of equipment no longer works after cleaning. I would have thought it would be an act of goodwill to cover the cost of the call out given the very high costs if your services … but our ideas on customer service clearly differ.
Update 2022 - I'm not sure why but they don't seem to be able to keep the staff and then put up the prices a lot - too much to be comfortable. Probably a sign of the times but we then found someone we could have a direct relationship and she's been great for 6 months. Hard to find though. Original post - NowThen have been great. We were rather wary of agencies before this but using NowThen has been really good. Always professional, respond to emails and phone calls, and are flexible when necessary. We tend to have the same person now every time which is what we like but the others who have come when necessary have all been great. Good quality, and trustworthy. Better to pay a few pounds (not lots) more rather than have the hassle of finding, hiring (and firing) your own). Recommended.
