Kris the receptionist at Northgate Medical Doctors, is a true asset to the surgery. She handled a difficult situation for my unwell uncle with speed, compassion, and professionalism. Her help made a real difference, and I’m truly grateful. Honestly cannot thank her enough ❣️
Worse drs ive been to, stopped my anti depressants out of no where over christmas period. Receptionist are dense, drs say they refer you to places but never do. Promised to put me back on repeat but never did after nagging for 5 weeks. They dont care about mental health, was very suicidal and self harmed alot but got told to take my meds, which i was already doing. If you want unreliable, petty, and closed minded drs, this is the place. Got to the point im calling 111 just to get my meds
When a patient rings a surgery, to inform them they have lost the use of a limb, for an ongoing problem, I cannot source any medical help nor am I allowed to go to the hospital. The government wonder why people cannot work. Sick people cannot source medical assistance because of surgery receptionists making decisions on a persona health, without even checking their medical records. I now have to try, on a weekly basis, for an appt. How do you continue with the use of just 1 arm? Labour run healthcare?
Younger girls on reception always try their best to help you. However, there is one lady who I have spoken to a few times over the phone and she is so beyond rude to you for absolutely no reason. She also called me by the wrong name half way through the telephone conversation which didn’t fill me with much confidence that my request was going to be dealt with efficiently. I hope she never answers the phone when I ring next.
Everyone in the surgery goes above and beyond to make sure patients are looked after. Every time I needed an appointment or support from admin staff it was always sorted, all staff is polite and helpful. I am grateful for being a patient in your surgery.
Absolutely brilliant gp surgery they investigate thoroughly any health issues, I'm so glad I switched to this surgery.

Worse medical center ever u never see a doctor always nurse which never do anything for u my son cold flu and cant breath and with deadly virus going around send him home no test no proper check up nothing just as always say give him colpol he should be fine word!! my child is not himself as parent we know our child better then u!
I find the staff here to be very rude and snippy on the phone. I have quite serious symptoms which need longer appointments and I can never get them, I can't book online, they make it very difficult for me to get medical care. They lied and told me I cant pre book an appointment, then when I told them the doctor explained that I can, they've magically managed to pre booked me an appointment? It's just such a negative interaction every time. I understand they are probablly stressed but its not okay for them to take it out on patients.
This clinic it's a joke. They send you for a blood test and after for reading blood test have to wait another 1 month , because your case it's not urgent. So if it's not urgent why are you sending me every month for blood tests? Another thing they promise you that they will call you on next day about results and you still waiting and waiting for hours . On the next day when you give them a call and asked what's happening about a call what they did promise their answers was , you wasn't been book at all. " BEST PRACTICES EVER"
