Very well stocked cafe serving excellent coffee. A good selection of naughty but very nice cakes and a choice of meal options. Staff friendly and all had smiles. Thanks
Ok, Boots.... You win. I have allowed my phone to continue ringing your pharmacy for 8 solid minutes and no-one has responded. Why do you have a phone line if you don't have enough staff to be responsible for answering the phone?
This store needs a huge review by Boots management, its my Mums local and the few times I've been in with her the store is run down, shelves empty and never any staff on apart from in the pharmacy. My Mum uses them for her repeat prescription but there's always a problem and she's now too old and her mobility is limited so she can't risk making her way there on her own and its not ready again. I've now been ringing for 45 minutes and still no reply to check if her medication will be delivered Monday. This will be the last time she uses them, we're moving her prescription online to the NHS app so that we have peace of mind that she's getting everything when she needs it without getting stressed and upset.

Absolute joke… supposed to be open 9-5 on a Saturday, I arrived at 1.40pm and a note on the door said “Closed for lunch til 2pm” then crossed out and changed to 2.15pm. Not sure why they even bothered putting a time on as after wasting time in other nearby shops and coming back, there are now a dozen people here at 2.40 waiting to get in and multiple others have already given up and left in disgust…
I'm so tired of going to try the door and it's locked. The excuses vary from "circumstances beyond our control" to "the pharmacist is on extended lunch and we cannot open without them present". It's just a farce. I've called by on a morning and afternoon with no luck, there's doesn't seem to be any pattern to the closures. Nice footnote is 'Your closest chemist is Well pharmacy ' No good when your prescription is lock inside your shop!!!
Never again will I return to this shop, the young lady that served me was extremely rude and I felt like an inconvenience to her. This was my first visit to collect my partners medication that was ordered 8 days ago and still was not ready for collection. Good luck to anyone using this pharmacy. I wish I had read the reviews before we nominated this place as our preferred pharmacy!!
Unreliable. Often queues for the pharmacy so have to wait a long time. I end up calling in telling them my prescription should be due, despite it being on repeat order. Often the tablets are not in stock so I have to have split packets of tablets. Like a previous reviewer said, I cannot see, aside from the pharmacy section, how it stays open. It is a poky little shop and I only use it due to it being convenient..
