   The shop is fine but wouldn't order online from Boots again! The order didn't arrive by the date it was supposed to, there was no communication regarding this and when I rang (terrible call centre!) after being cut off a few times eventually they told me there was nothing they can do other than refund the order and I had to go and find the items in the store myself if I still wanted them.

   Over the years I have typically had a neutral experience at this store. Today I visited the small local pharmacy counter and had a negative experience. The young woman on the counter was dismissive and did not listen to what I was saying. I tried several times to make my point and ask questions but she shut down every attempt before I finished my sentence. Disappointing customer service to say the least. I went elsewhere where I got better advice and made my purchase. I obviously interrupted her shelf filling!

   Went to boots for some personal cream for my daughter, was attacked by the cashier very rudely where did you get that from ? I politely told her she said you can’t just pick that up ( no glass in front of them ) I said how am I supposed to know this ? How rude this was in front of other customers I wouldn’t mind but I’ve only just come out of hospital after six weeks of heart surgery and I didn’t need the stress. I’m absolutely upset by the way I was spoken to in all my years shopping in Boots. Nobody ever spoken to me in her manner before it was the lady on the pharmacy counter the small countet she’s obviously got a problem she didn’t have to say what she said to me. How was I supposed to know? There was glass in front of it and you weren’t allowed to touch things next time I just go to Superdrug

   Visited this store with the purpose of buying a new aftershave and the choices in store where extremely good definitely one of the best I've seen in a boots store. Tried a few samples and two lovely lady cashiers helped out before i picked one to buy. A third cashier also came over and was helpful with her recommendations. A wonderful store with extremely helpful, friendly staff who are warm welcoming.

   i went in for a sight test. staff were fantastic and very helpful. helped me pick out a pair of glasses that suited me! really recommend coming here for a sight test. staff go above and beyond, amazing team!

I explained the eyeliner colour I was looking for and she continued to look after we had given up and I had paid. Thank you so much, I’m so pleased to have the perfect colour at last.

   Good variety of products and services. Late opening pharmacy that is extremely useful to the local area. Good choice of quality glasses and lenses supplied after having a thorough eye examination there. Hearing tests are also available. Hygiene products, cosmetics, baby supplies are available as well as all other typical products for health and wellbeing. A number of tills available, only overwhelmed on occasion e.g Christmas and the following bout of returns and sales. Usually friendly and helpful staff. Very good store that is indispensable.

   Felt so sorry for a member of staff there the other night. She was on her own, dealing with dozens of customers (all of whom, including me, were being patient with her), and it was getting worse and worse. I was at the front of the queue. She phoned up the manager who was clearly in another part of the building (eg office upstairs) - she begged for help. He refused, he told her to deal with it herself. She was left shaking. I just wanted to step in and help her, but as non-staff I couldn’t. So, 10/10 for the lovely low paid assistant, 0/10 for the nob in the office. PS an hour to collect something ordered online is utterly unacceptable

   Can take a while to collect prescriptions. The hours are pretty good apart from they close dispensing for an hour in the middle of the day which is a bit of a lottery if you turn up and they are not just closed but if you wait until they are open there's a massive queue when they do restart. Have had problems several times where my doctor swears blind they have sent them a prescription and Boots swear blind they haven't so I have to keep driving back and forth between the two until it's sorted. Range is quite good in the store.
