I have been a member of this vets for 4years and have just made a complaint about the poor treatment of my pet by Sophie the vet, she is scared of my old English bulldog, as she thinks he is an XL Bully even though he is obviously not she told me I had to get him assessed and forced us to mussel him and pin him to the floor, to give him his kennel cough.when he is not vicious at all he is extremely friendly, all other vets in the practise give him cuddles she jumped back when she saw him. I have never been to the vets and been treated to badly, I made a complaint and have just been kicked out after paying for the wellness plan for 4 years and for two pets. They haven’t listened to my complaint just told me we were abusive yet no one has spoke to me about this seems easy for them to just use my being upset about poor treatment and just kick us out without dealing with complaint. I will be taking this further and want to warn other to think before joining this vets and using the wellness plan as it’s a 12 month contact unless they decide to stop it suddenly. My pet shouldn’t be treated like this by anyone, let alone the vet.

I have been taking my pets to White Cross West Derby for almost approximately 10 years. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Highly recommend the pet plan they offer it gives you peace of mind. The staff are always so pleasant and welcoming. The clinicians are always so friendly and knowledgeable, and genuinely care about your pets wellbeing. In my experience any treatment is always discussed and I am fully informed how my pet is going to benefit from any treatment given. My recent appointments at White Cross were due to my dog having infected anal glands. I was given a prompt appointment and he was examined and given antibiotics and analgesia. He was back to himself within days of taking the medication. He was reviewed in 1 week and the infection had resolved needing no further treatment. Thank you White Cross for the amazing genuine care and service you provide to keep our pets well.

We had cause to be at the vet this week with our dog (Maggi) the vet gave her a good exam and then proceeded to explain all options to us. We have seen this vet before she is a lovely person very caring with Maggi. I love the fact that she goes into detail to make sure we get the right treatment for our beloved dog. The staff are very friendly and helpful too. Would happily recommend them to family and friends.

Great vets. I have an over anxious 7yr old large mixed staff dog who will not stop barking and pulling when he visits. The staff are great and understanding and really try to put him at ease.
