Fantastic vets, really trust them looking after our 3 Ragdoll cats. They are very cat friendly, explain everything well and throughly with no rush. Building is great, parking and friendly staff. We have recently switched to them and wish we had years ago. The special cat waiting area is such a good idea. Highly recommend.

Acorn Vets have consistently shown real compassion and professionalism every time I have visited. The staff, both front of house and the veterinary team, have been empathetic and genuinely caring during some difficult moments. The practice is immaculate, well organised and has parking which makes life a bit easier when you are already stressed. What sets them apart is that they do not rush to tick boxes or push you through. They focus on solving the issue for the animal while also recognising that there is a worried human standing there too. They strike that balance perfectly. A great team and a practice that really feels like it cares.

I can’t speak highly enough of the team here, I feel so at ease knowing my animals are so well looked after and i have just registered another puppy with them as my other dog is so content with the team - Rhian is an absolute credit to the team everything is is personalised and it’s so reassuring. Would highly recommend to anyone.

The team helped us today with our loved dog going on his last journey at home at such a sad and hard time for anyone who has to put there beloved dog to sleep they where amazing kind caring and with such compassion for our beau we as a family where so grateful for there kind professional and compassionate care that they gave him at such a hard time for us they really did go above and beyond for us and our dog even though we where not part of the practise as ours wouldn't do a home visit a amazing professional caring and compassionate team who will have our heart felt thanks in the way they helped our beau on his last journey.

Excellent place. Thought the temporary surgery was very good. Now newly built surgery is open. Large waiting room. No human visitor toilets and clinic room 3 very small. But... all vets and staff are fantastic. Very caring. Always thoughtful over payments and recommend getting on line too. Mel is a fantastic vet. My little chi loves her. Would recommend and have done to any animal owner. Additional comments made 21/10/18 Following the official open day last week of the New surgery, all I can say is WOW!! A look behind the scenes was brilliant, interesting and very informative. This was open for everyone to do. It's on standard with 'supervet' facilities . Separate operating theatres for dental, ortho, soft tissue and general. Great digital imaging equipment. They now also have been awarded a Gold standard in cat care. Which apparently means less is more when dealing with your cat. Acorn not only look after my chihuahua, but I now run a chihuahua rescue, and they look after all the dogs that come through the rescue too. A big well done and thank you to the team. Your all brilliant, from student and other nurses, receptionist, and vets, also everyone else who helps make that place what it is.
