We've had our boy here since Feb 2024 they've always been fabulous. He's had multiple visits here as he's a clumsy pup and they've always been amazing with him. I would highly recommend this place.

Joined Southport Vets a few months ago after we inherited COCO the kitten. We have had a few appointments since then and all the staff and vets are outstanding. They have looked after her so well we just had to add a review. The cost of the treatments are very competitive and we cant recommend enough. They kept our COCO an extra hour as they wanted COCO to stay for more of her cuddles ha ha

We had such a fantastic experience at Southport Vets. The vet was absolutely amazing – so knowledgeable, especially when it came to our cocker spaniels, and took the time to explain everything clearly. You can really tell they care about the animals as much as the owners do. The whole team is just brilliant – friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming every time we visit. It feels so much more personal here compared to the bigger vets locally. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Southport Vets to anyone looking for the very best care for their pets.

I rang on Wednesday to try and get my 5 month old kitten booked in for neutering on the Friday. I was told that wouldn’t be a problem as long as he had a pre-op check on the Thursday. No issues were raised on the phone, no mention of limited availability, no concerns about timing, and no suggestion that the surgery wouldn’t go ahead that week. So I brought him in on Thursday, did the pre-op check as asked, only to then be told by the receptionist that the next available appointment for the actual surgery wasn’t for another 11 days. That was a complete surprise and left me confused. If I’d known that from the start, I wouldn’t have wasted my time coming in. I’ve had other cats neutered at different vets and it was all done on the same day, pre-op and surgery, no messing about. The process here just seemed long-winded and unnecessarily drawn out. To be honest, I got the feeling that because I didn’t want to pay extra for optional extras like blood tests and additional screenings, I was no longer a priority. It felt like I was being pushed down the list because I wasn’t spending enough. I’ve since found another vets who can do the pre-op and neutering all on the same day — no fuss, no delays. I won’t be going back here and I wouldn’t recommend them if you’re expecting clear communication or reliable service.

Treated a cat with an abscess, didn't discuss costs, prescribed meds, which were not given as the cat wonders and comes in through cat flap for food, should of discussed fees prior to treatment and also told that meds were none refundable, we have £60.00 worth of meds which they won't take back. Went in to discuss pointed to a sign on the wall you could not read from the counter, and then was sarcasticalky smiled at and told to have a nice evening, lost lists of business from me with 2 cats and new dog! Not excuse for rudeness, by the way they are very expensive! ss all the above and said it should of been
