Love how welcoming and fun this daycare is. Thea is always itching to return. They seem to have thought through everything paw-rents are worried about when dropping our fur babies off. They always seem happy to have us even when I’m not the best at advance booking.

My diggy's best days ever are spent here. Julia and her team are so professional and kind. They really get to know your individual dog and hearing about his antics and personality let me know they are watching him. We are so lucky to have this fantastic facility where our dogs can be dogs in the city centre. Thank you Tails

Fantastic day care! I’ve toyed with the idea of letting my doggo go to a day care for a while but never had the courage to do it (I think I suffer the separation anxiety and not the dog!), spoke to the staff on the phone who ran through everything with me and on the day of his free trial day, the staff (I never caught the man’s name) really quelled any nerves I had! By all accounts Lenny had a fantastic first day & he came home and slept like a log! at I will definitely be booking him in regularly!

What a lovely place. The staff clearly care about all the guests here. Quickly able to fit my dog into a group where he had great fun and social interactions in. The drop off and pick up system is easy and quick. And my dog was so excited on his second visit when he realised where he was. My dog is coming back super happy and super tired. Fantastic.

Tails In The City is such a happy place where the dogs are loved and so well cared for. No other Liverpool dog day care compares. Nothing is too much trouble. The staff are lovely and the owner Julia has been so helpful since i got Mabel. Mabel says thank you!

I wish we had a good experience here but it has been awful. The girls seem really lovely and are obvious dog people which is good, but if you have a puppy or a dog prone to eating things/putting things in their mouth I advise you go elsewhere. My puppy went once for a trial and was so so poorly from ingesting a large amount of wood chips which are all over the floor. he had to go to the vets 3 times in the space of a week and I've had to pay just over £200 for treatment. He's lost a lot of weight as he wouldn't eat, he was being sick everywhere and it had large chunks of wood in his sick. Staff obviously hadn't watched him close enough, and I'm aware its an outdoor daycare which is not an issue, but I don't understand the need for wood chips. so many dogs and puppies tend to chew things and put things in their mouths so its a real hazard, it can be an outdoor daycare without the need for wood chips that can cause illness. Ive been at my breaking point with so much upset after he went because he was so ill. luckily there was no impaction in his gut but the outcome could have been more fatal, I rang up and I got told there was nothing they could offer him and he wouldn't be able to be put somewhere without wood chips, so the risk is not worth it and he won't be going. Please be careful the past week has been heartbreaking for me

Took dog for a trial day, wasn't impressed as while they have roofed areas and a container unit, the majority of the place is outside and unfortunately it was a wet day so our pup was extremely muddy and shivering when we picked her up. Think there should be more indoor buildings for this place as the location is not far from the river mersey so the wind and rain and cold is quite bad at times. During the summer I'm sure this place is fantastic but for us we would prefer an indoor place. The staff was friendly and helpful, but not for us sorry.

Great service and they take care of both my dogs. Both Peanut and Dougal love Tails in the City, you can tell by their energy and confidence around everyone who works there and they can not wait to see everyone when I drop them off. Same commitment when I go to pick them up, they want to stay. Both have had no issues boarding, or with day care over the last three years. Julia and Team has been very open about Dougal and Peanut with me over the last two years. Highly recommend Tails in the City. Huge thanks to everyone who looks after the Dougal and Peanut.
