Our dog hates being in Kennels and on the occasions we've had to send him to one in the past he has come out having not eaten, behaving badly. Staying at Hendre seems to have been a far more positive experience for him, we will certainly bare them in mind in the future
Excellent kennels with plenty of space. Owner Dani is a very knowledgeable and friendly person. Sensibly priced. My dog came away from his stay behaving very happy and stress free.
Our Poodle Elsa was only staying for two nights but Dani and everyone couldn't have been more accommodating. Dani even went the extra mile after we left behind Elsa's teddy bear and she posted it back home to us in the West Midlands!
I first needed to kennel my dog when she was 8 yrs old, so naturally i was apprehensive, not only because of her age but because she was a rescue and so a little skittish at times. Hendre kennels came recommended to me so i gave them a try. I can honestly say its the best decision i made. They are so caring and patient as well as being friendly and welcoming. Like i said my dog is a rescue so she has a "quirky" personality haha.....in other words she can be moody, sulky, picky and sometimes just plain ignorant!! Dani and her team have welcomed all her quirks and love her to bits which makes my holidays even better knowing my girl is in the best hands. I cannot praise and recommend Hendre Kennels enough they really are the best.
We have not tried using boarding kennels before, but having known of Dani Whines and her great reputation for sometime we knew our 2 dogs would be safe and well looked. Our collies were dropped off on Friday morning with their beds and weekend bag! Francesca met us, welcomed the boys and showed them around and their weekend accommodation. From the moment they arrived they looked perfectly relaxed and I knew they were in good hands I had updates from Dani to put our minds at rest. The boys had thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending Hendre Farmhouse Boarding Kennels to anyone unsure about using kennels, we will definitely be using them again in the future knowing the boys will be in safe hands and probably having a better holiday than us!
