   I went to 3 different places - including another Timpsons - to get keys cut, and nobody could help me with this particular key due to its size. Finally, Chester Timpsons helped me, and with a smile and friendly jokes too, which cheered me up no end after traipsing the ends of the universe with an 18 month old, to cut this seemingly awkward key.    I am so grateful for the time you spent repairing a brand new pair of shoes I had bought for my toddler, which our puppy got to first! I explained the issue & the gentleman I spoke with was empathetic and said he would take some time to think about how the repair could be done. It was an 'out of the norm' request and after less than a week, we now have a pair of shoes which can finally be worn. You were so very kind and generous with your time. Thank you so very much.

   I have used this shop many times over the years and they always do a superb job. Service is absolutely top notch, they'll tell you if they can do the job and when they can do it by and you can rely on that. He dug me out of a hole today with repairing something that I broke and need to use urgently. Superb service.

   Amazing customer service from Mark. I had previously taken in a couple of watches to have batteries replaced. These were done exactly in the time he stated with courteous service and at a very reasonable price. I was so impressed that I took the remainder of my watches that needed batteries changing in a week later and received exactly the same care, professionalism and personable service. Cannot recommend Timpsons on Watergate Street enough. Simply brilliant. Thank you!

   I took in a pair of quality trainers to Timpson's in Watergate Street because the soles had worn down at the heels. The trainers were too expensive to throw away, but could they be re-soled? John was on duty and his professional manner was such that I was happy to accept his advice that they could and, not only that, the new soles would last for years. A week later I collected them and they look as good as new. The trainers feel good too. Whenever I use this branch of Timpson it is the customer care and good manners that impress me most. Other shops would do well to follow their example! If you need your old shoes renewed or if you need keys cutting, I recommend Timpson in Watergate street. Definitely 5 stars!
