Brilliant service. I had my engagement ring resized by Phil - went in on Saturday and was ready to pick up on Tuesday. It now fits perfectly! Very reasonable price. Will definitely be returning. Thanks Phil!
I took my engagement ring to be resized here and after collecting noticed there were a few issues; scratches on the ring, the ring not being shaped neatly, not been recoated as quoted as well as the branding on the inside of the ring that had been removed without my consent. I took the ring back to be corrected but it was not. The jeweller's response to this was that he would 'dumb down how he does it so I can understand'. Throughout my complaint I was spoken down to rudely in a very condescending manner when my main aim was for my ring to be repaired correctly and the branding reinstated as it was when brought into the shop. His solution was for me to take it back to the store my husband originally bought it from and to tell them the branding had 'worn off'. Unprofessional and I am now left with an engagement ring that has been ruined and the sentimental value lessened. I have attached photographs for proof of poor workmanship where the diamond on the inside of the ring has moved to the edge of the band from being stretched and the misshapen ring. EDIT - The store that previously resized the ring was 4 years ago and the comment regarding them removing the brand of the ring is completely false. This further highlights how this owner treats his customers by calling me a liar rather than owning up to his own mistakes.
Phil is my go to jeweller for everything. He has designed and made beautiful pieces for me over 10 years including my engagement and wedding ring. All bespoke and perfect to my taste. Phil has always gone out of his way to provide the best possible service and even dropped off pieces to my home address when I've been unable to collect. 5 star service for 5 star jewellery
Phil has been my jeweller of choice for over 13 years. He's sold me pieces, remodelled some of my old jewellery and always delivered on time when asked. His workmanship is second to none. I simply don't understand the negative reviews as my dealings with him have always been totally positive. Phil is extremely friendly in the shop as is his wife Kathryn, they both take time to ensure the buying experience is a wonderful experience. I have absolutely nothing negative to say. This is my honest & totally independent review. I would highly recommend Phil & his skills at producing & repairing jewellery to the highest standards.
I've recently had 3 rings redesigned and resized by Phil at PMH - the rings were old fashioned and not fit for purpose (literally) and Phil has done an amazing job at bringing them back to life. Phil was happy to make adjustments to meet my needs and his craftsmanship is excellent on all three pieces. Phil also made my fiance's wedding ring from scratch and we are delighted with the end result.
I had my engagement ring made by Phil a few years back, its a lovely ring and I've had plenty of lovely comments from family and friends on how well made and different it is compared to other engagements ring out there. Phil has now made my wedding ring to match my engagement ring and what a fabulous job he has done!. Phil is a very talented person and I would recommend any body thinking of having any pieces of Jewellery hand made to go to him.
