Visited the Chorley store today and Susan and Joanne were extremely helpful as I am terrible at making decisions. I needed to buy a prize and they were very patient in helping me make a decision.
I visited today to book in a repair and to also request extra links in a watch strap. Joanne and Toni were so very helpful, my repair was booked in, and they also put my spare links onto my watch without any charge. They were professional, and friendly, which is something you don't always find these days. Both ladies are an absolute credit to the company, would I shop there or take repairs there again? Absolutely! Excellent service 10/10.

I have been shopping with H. Samuel as a loyal customer for over 20 years. My family have spent thousands over the years shopping here for gifts. I went in today to ask about having a Watch strap adjusted. The lady in store told me it would cost £20. I am fully aware this process takes less than 2 minutes, which totals £10 a minute. I personally think this is daylight robbery, so I said no, which the lady just replied "OK, Cya!". I'm not sure what H Samuel were thinking but I can happily say nor me or any of my family will ever shop with them again (The tool to adjust your watch can be bought for around a £5). The market stall 10 seconds around the corner offered to adjust my watch for around £3, which I was happily willing to Pay. I wouldn't mind but I've bought many watches from H. Samuel in the past. I've even spent £150 on a cross and chain for my daughter for Christmas very recently. NEVER AGAIN. Rang number from reply. No resolve, but the nice lady on the phone did apologise on their behalf. In the end I adjusted the watch with a sewing needle, as the market was shut when I took it. Took me around 45 seconds, maybe a minute.
Got a beautiful ring from here but took it in for a repair. I was told I would be contacted in a week for a price (no repairs just an estimate). Contacted the online chat and I was told it would take 3 weeks. I find this absurd for a quote.
