   I went in with a brand-new engagement ring that couldn’t be returned to the original shop. Even though I lost a fair bit of money on the ring, the staff at S S Milton were absolutely brilliant. They understood the sensitive situation I was in and handled everything professionally without any hassle. The price was agreed upon quickly and the process was smooth from start to finish. I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

   I called in this store today with seventeen gold rings to sell. The lady that was serving me said seven out of the ten were not gold. (Incorrect as another pawnbroker gave me a price for the gold) but when the other store gave me back my rings, I noticed one was missing. I called back to s s Milton’s and told them one was missing from just half an hour earlier? The lady that served me was very embarrassed and checked their back room and apparently found it??? On the floor! Won’t be returning!!!

   I saw a ring that I wanted (certainly not needed!) The staff were patient with me as I tried to decide which of the 2 similar rings I wanted. Eventually I chose the more expensive one, that also needed resizing. This was done within the price. I got a certified diamond and platinum ring from a leading jeweller-David M Robinson-for more than 50% less than it would cost to buy new. I don't think I'll ever buy new jewellery again!!!!
