Went to the other jeweller in town to have my watch repaired was told at least £490 in less than 20seconds, so tried the jewellers workshop was told NO CHARGE to look at it for me, I picked it up today and it’s still working!!! NO CHARGE, so remember if you need honest repairs, more Intrested in watches than £££

The owners are wonderful, very knowledgeable and helpful , I was happy to pay for a new link on a bracelet which would have been triple the price I eventually paid as the jeweller explained the existing clasp just needed to be changed from a circle to oval to prevent the bracelet falling off . It cost just £4 and they were right it hasn't fallen off since . Their honesty cost them money but they preferred to be honest , quite rare in this day and age , would highly recommend and have been back several times since to purchase other items , they have a huge variety of stock and very reasonable prices
Richard and Lyn are extremely helpful and proffesional. I have always supported Richard and Lyn, the jewellers workshop, for the last 36 years and had no issues. I have purchased jewellery, had various items of jewellery altered and repaired without issue. Richard may appear abrupt, but the advice will always be right, buy, dont bother, has potential or can be altered.... Rebecca Cullen ? you are totally wrong as Livingstones jewellers purchased the original jewellers from Richard and completely messed the whole thing up, absolutely useless.... They were like Ratners, and totally unprofessional and had no idea what they were doing or talking about
Livingston's jewellers attempted to steal my partner's watch!!!! We asked if they could validate a watch we got at auction and to see inside the back of it as we think the watch strap has been changed as well as put my partner's watch in for a new battery and a link. Upon collection they refused to show us the inside of the watch and that is what I paid for. I said I was happy to pay for the other bits but wanted to see the inside of the watch and was not going to pay as I felt they had not done what I asked if they had which is not a big task, takes 2 minutes if that. So they kicked us out of the shop and kept my partner's watch. I pleaded with them to come talk to me to resolve the issue and said it was very unprofessional conduct. I was ignored for 20 minutes until the police arrived to deal with the matter needless to say I have never been to a place of business that acted so childish and extremely rude over something so small. Stay clear!!!!!
Amazing collection here, Rolex watches, beautiful diamonds and jewellery. Needed some ring adjustment (made bigger) and Lyn told me how much it could be enlarged and Richard added the gold required to make my ring bigger, he also fixed my watch whilst i waited. Excellent service, extremely polite and friendly. Would definitely recommend, 5 stars.
