   Great experience here in booking our trip across South America. The agent, (whose name I have regrettably forgotten!) a young chap did very well in co-ordinating the various transit and accomodation arrangements across three countries and the total came to a reasonable expected cost. Recommended if you wish to arrange a cross-border trip as in our case.

   Clearly this branch doesn’t need my custom. Called in a month ago and got a business card from James Adam at the front desk. We had a brief chat and I said I’d phone and arrange an appointment to discuss an Australian holiday. I have called now 6 times attempting to arrange an appointment. First time - he was on holiday. Fair enough. Every time I called subsequently I was told he was ‘on another call’ and promised callbacks. Silence. Disgraceful customer service. If this is the ‘service’ they offer it would to be foolish to book and then get this treatment while on holiday.

   Today Michael spent time getting ongoing flights for me. He did part of the booking manually and then made a call for another difficult part of the booking. Absolutely brilliant and so patient. Top marks and I will continue to use Trailfinders as have done for 30 years or so. This branch has fantastic staff and a wealth of knowledge. Couldn’t get any better.

   We were initially due to travel to St Lucia in March, but with Covid restrictions we were unable to go. Trailfinders were incredibly helpful in moving our trip to June. Then BA cancelled our return flight, but we were able to re-arrange, and in fact received an immediate rebate as our trip was slightly shorter. Although the testing requirements seemed a little daunting, we were given loads of information on what we needed to do, and in fact it all went incredibly smoothly. Needless to say we had the most marvellous holiday, the hotel as recommended by our TF advisor was everything we hoped for, if not better. We would not have risked a foreign holiday unless it was booked through a company we had total faith in. We have booked through Trailfinders many times in the past, and in the current circumstances we felt completely confident that they would look after us. We were right! Thank you Trailfinders :)

   Where to start… Trailfinders is an incredible travel agency with impeccable service and amazing people! I want to particularly call out Trailfinders Richmond and travel agent James! Trailfinders was recommended to me by a friend and last year I finally convinced my husband to book our first trip with Trailfinders to Croatia. We loved it! Great hotels in amazing locations! It was our best holiday so far. We decided to book a 2 week Japan holiday through Trailfinders for March 2020 to celebrate my birthday. Before Trailfinders I spent hours and days searching different websites and comparing prices. We walked into our local Trailfinders and James put together a fantastic Japan tour for us within a couple of hours. Unfortunately as everyone knows Covid hit us although our departure date was scheduled before lockdown. In the run up to our departure date, when things became so unsure and places started closing down in Japan, James was on the phone to us several times a day keeping us in the loop on the situation and getting updates from Japan. In the end we decided to reschedule our trip to October instead of risking getting possibly stuck in Japan. A good choice considering lockdown came into place only days later. Usually you would be charged for changing your dates right? But not with Trailfinders! They allowed us to change our dates without extra charge, but taking the hit themselves! Our new travel date was supposed to be in 1 week, however due to restrictions we cannot go of course. James has been available to us with updates this whole time and we now had the choice to reschedule again or cancel with a full refund. As we don’t know how long this whole thing will take we decided to cancel and we received a full refund in less than 2 weeks! Thinking about how long it would have taken us getting our money back – if we even would have gotten it back – from different travel websites and airlines is cringe worthy. We have been utterly stunned and impressed with Trailfinder’s customer service and care! One thing we know for sure – once we can travel again - it is Trailfinders for us all the way! Keep up the fantastic work and we hope for all of you that things can return back to normal soon!

   Absolutely do not recommend them. Store manager is absolutely useless, gives terrible advice and will tell you anything for a sale. The company, their service and their staff are shambolic, don't know what they are talking about and desperately need to expand their knowledge of the holidays they are selling.
