Placed an order through Uber eats, called up asking about the order, they proceeded to say if no driver comes in 10 minutes they will be closing the store and that I can get a refund through Uber. Uber then proceeds to say I cannot receive any refund as they already started to make it. So Ive just lost money for nothing.
Absolutely terrible. Late delivery. Sent out the wrong order. I normally have no problem but it has made me think about ordering from them again. Especially, since what they sent. Me and my partner are allergic too. Nobody in the shop wanted to help us either. So disappointed

Waited for over two hours for the delivery. Could not get hold of the restaurant to ask about delivery. Just eat messaged saying it would be delivered soon and have an updated time. Time came and went, two hours 30 minutes later still not food. Gave up in the end, asked for a refund and Just Eat wouldn’t give me an option for this. 3 hours 39 minutes it turns up, freezing cold and burn to a crisp. Just what I wanted at 11pm at night.
My order was about 1 and a half hours late (2 hours after making the order). When I tried to call to find out where my order was, the worker who answered the phone spoke too quickly with a strong accent making it impossible for me to understand him. I had given up getting my order so it was a nice surprise when it did finally arrive, the worker who delivered the food was friendly and apologetic which I appreciated and saved my review from being 1 out of 5. Three food was still warm and was mostly correct, though the cheese sticks were missing any vegan ham. Judging from other reviews, this papa John's has been having problems for years that they seem not to be addressing. It's not too surprising seeing a news article about many Papa John's locations closing down recently when the company either doesn't seem to care any more or it's just being run by incompetent people. My only shock is that out of the many locations shutting down, this one somehow isn't one of them.
I like the pizza but their delivery needs to be improved. I ordered a small pizza and a side and it took 90 minutes to get here, and I only live 10 minutes drive! I checked on the app and it said my order was delivered.. then 20 mins later it actually arrived. Cold.
I can honestly say this has to be the worst papa John's in the whole UK do not order from there. I ordered a delivery waited 2 hours so rang the MSN papa John's no answer. I continued to ring as I drove down there. The phone was just ringing in the background while all I could see was pizza boxes everywhere. Food just left in boxes on the side. I was met by 10 customers all with similar stories. I then waited a further 20 mins. I then received boxes all cold and 3 wrong boxes out of 6. I don't think even Gordon Ramsey could save this place. 29.11.22 They comment on here with the customer services email still no reply or refund dusgustimg
I think the poor reviews are from when this place had just opened and may well have had teething problems. We ordered 2 pizzas and wings last night, it arrived on time and was delicious! It was easy to order on the app, prices were decent, the service was good, there was plenty of choice, both garlic sauces were really tasty, I ate all the crust (normally I leave it as I’m not a fan) and it didn’t give me heartburn like other takeaway pizzas. So really impressed and will be ordering again. Even our cats wanted a slice!
I went in with a friend to have a look whilst he ordered a pizza we went in and was stood waiting for approximately 5 minutes we seen no staff at all until someone cleaning walked through and came back and asked if we was collecting and we said we was ordering so he said he will go get someone to serve and a minute later the person serving came out and took the order. I can't comment on food as I didn't order anything and not really a pizza person but I can comment on the experience. The place is well done out and looks nice there is some seating well a couple bar stools so more for just whilst you wait seating. The staff to me almost seemed like it was just a job until they fined something else or only received basic training it's a area that could be improved. Although it's yet another food shop it's nice to se a once empty shop being used and by a known brand that attracts people to come to midsomer Norton from surrounding areas.
