   We recently had a 3 week holiday which we booked through Virikson Holidays. It was one of their Thailand packages made up of week long stays in hotels and resorts in Phuket, Khao Lak and Krabi. Our first problem occurred when we arrived at the first hotel on Phuket. After being kept waiting for over an hour in reception we were told that there was no room reserved for us because Virikson had not paid for the booking. Eventually we agreed to pay for the first night ourselves as we had been travelling for over 15 hours and needed to shower and get some rest. We contacted Virikson who blamed the booking company that they used. On the second day of our stay we were told that the hotel still hadn’t been paid and that if we wanted to continue our stay we would have to pay ourselves. Left with no other option we paid the hotel a total of 24,500 baht for our one week stay (despite having already paid Virikson £3598 for our holiday) After 6 days of online chats with Virikson they eventually paid the hotel and we were able to get our 24,500 refunded from the hotel reception - needless to say our first weeks stay was stressful and spoiled. The second week in Khao Lak was fine, lovely resort and no complaints. However unfortunately we had further problems at the Krabi resort/hotel. Our room was dirty noisy and very poorly furnished and equipped. Although it was in a beautiful location the facilities were very poorly. A very basic breakfast and no real bar or restaurant on site at all and nothing within walking distance. We complained to Virikson but checked out after 3 nights because nothing was resolved. We paid for our own flights back to Bangkok as we were unable to get the Virikson flights altered. The Virikson agent David promised he would complain to the hotel and look into a refund for the 4 days that we didn’t stay. But 2 weeks have now passed without any further contact and needless to say no refund received. We would definitely not use this company again, £3598 paid for a very unsatisfactory holiday. We are experienced travellers and have been to Thailand many times but unfortunately this was not good. Pictures of the Krabi Hotel posted to support this review

   Recently, booked our honeymoon with Virikson Holidays to Dubai and Maldives for 9 nights. I must say the customer service was amazing and the package price was also very good. Jason has been extremely helpful and responded immediately to all my calls and messages. I was always provided with quick response. Jason helped me with booking everything from flights, accommodations and to transfers. Unfortunately for our personal reason we had to rearrange part of our trip and Jason dealt with it so professionally and without any hassle. He issued us new tickets so we could continue our trip. I don’t normally write reviews but the experience was amazing and persuaded me to leave a review. Once we reached our destination everything was organised and there were no issues. The hotel was amazing. Everything went exactly as Jason told me and there were no problems. Jason thank you so much for organising everything so professionally. I would definitely recommend Virkison holidays and would book again without a second thought.
