   Absolutely brilliant Christmas party night last night with friends. Never been here before and was a bit dubious as I’d heard it was on the small side, plus a karaoke night which I’m not normally a fan of but what a fantastic night we had. Staff were so friendly and attentive. The food was delicious - great portion sizes & piping hot main course. I had pate for starter which was delicious, roast turkey dinner for main and they even gave us extra vegetables and cheesecake for dessert which just melted in the mouth. Excellent value for money. DJ and karaoke afterwards was brilliant and we had a great time. Shame it had to end.

   I visited the restaurant on Saturday afternoon with my family, and as the only vegan in the group, my options were initially very limited. However, when I mentioned this to our server, Courtney, she went above and beyond. She spoke with the chef and came back with several options they could prepare specially for me, which I thought was incredibly kind. The chef made a delicious arrabbiata along with garlic bread made with olive oil instead of butter - simple but delicious. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was brilliant. As a vegan, I don’t always expect restaurants to accommodate me, so I was delighted by how thoughtful they were in offering alternatives. I would highly recommend this restaurant for both the food and the wonderful service.

   Dropped in for dinner on the way to a local music venue. dinner for two and the food was top class. 3 course at a good price. Being a soup starter fan was delighted with the mushroom also tried the onion via my parners choice and both were excellent. From the good selection of mains, I chose the beef lasagne which I would highly recommend. Staff were very nice with the chef checking on also which is a nice touch. Cheesecake was to die for. This is a tucked away gem well worth looking up if in the area.

   Just had an amazing meal at The Bistro. Stunning flavours and cooked to perfection. The service was great, friendly and homely. And as we were finishing a family came in after the last service and the restaurant team did not let them leave disappointed and stayed open so they could enjoy a meal. Could not praise this glorious wee place more.

   Gorgeous wee place off hidden from the Main Street but well worth a visit. Food was 11/10, owner and wife served us. Definitely book for the weekend as this place will fill during peak times. It’s phenomenal. The menu is exquisite without the pretentious dress code or snobbery. Very down to earth people, very wholesome place. Family owned business, photos of their kids on the walls, lovely decor! If you’re in the area you HAVE to give this place a try. Wel see you again soon folks. Well done.

   Booked a table for eight and everything went super smooth over the evening. Great selection on the menu I had the Lamb Shanks which was super soft and tender. Came with mash potatoes and gravy and the presentation was good. Generous portion sizes. My partner had the beef short ribs which she would also recommend !
