   I had an incredible dining experience at ORO. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, with a stylish and comfortable setting that really sets the tone for a special meal. The staff are attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do, you can feel it in the way they look after guests. The food is exceptional. Every dish is prepared with care, fresh ingredients, and fantastic presentation. You can tell there’s real talent in the kitchen, the flavors are perfectly balanced, generous portions, and beautifully executed. It’s rare to find a place where the quality of service and cuisine come together so consistently. Whether you’re coming for a relaxed evening or a celebration, ORO delivers. Highly recommended, I’ll definitely be back!

   First time back since the refurb. Feels cosy, service was nice. Food was good. However, my gripe is with the portion sizes and pricing. £22 for vodka pasta and your getting a few bits of pasta and sauce. Everything feels comically small and overpriced. Overall, the foods good, pricing and portions aren’t my vibe.

   This place is lovely and the food was perfect, the staff were very friendly and always checked in with you. Staff seen me struggling to cut my son’s pizza and offered to cut it for us which was a good touch that they paid attention to their customers. I had the bruschetta to start which was lovely and fresh, then arrabbiata pasta for my main and again it was very nice. Portion sizes were perfect.

   We’ve been visiting Oro for over 10 years now and it just her better and better! The food is perfect, the ambience is so beautiful and the service is impeccable. Staff make you feel like royalty and the food is just amazing - especially the new Amarena brownie. Paolo gives a warm welcome and a friendly smile! Team are wonderful - 11/10

   My first impression...As we entered and waited to be seated by the lovely brunette lady, we could sense the buzz and the vibrant atmosphere. The food smell is amazing and the taste?! well... It's all in the plate! Yum Yum!! Young waiter staff are very friendly and welcoming! As you enter ORO you'll forget the outside world! A must try!

   Fairly decent Italian that's been in Shawlands since the birth of Christ, maybe. Always busy with attentive, friendly & helpful staff all bound together in the ecletic designed surroundings which only a place that's been around for a while can get away with. Food was fine, not write home to your mother good just fine and not massive portions. I will return. Googled just asked me "has anything has changed since your last visit?"... Aye, it's got about 30% more expensive for the same portion size. Still tastes nice tho.

   I love this restaurant where I ate 4 nights in a row whilst at a conference nearby. The service is very attentive and professional, and there was no more than 15 minutes to wait for food. And the food was just brilliant and authentic Italian cuisine served by the Italian waiters. This was simply the best and therefore I highly recommend this place and commend all the staff for making it such a good evening
